CRAZY CAT LADY OR PLASTIC SURGERY IN MY 20'S?!

Ahhhh, laid up recovering from the TT with NOTHING to do but play 21 questions in the forums! It's me and my four walls for weeks...I'd blog a rock at this pont! ANYWHOO.. I am curious about the decesion to have PS so young and not have had kids yet.  Not that I am not fasinated by the removal of man boobs, but this is more so for the ladies and future pregnancy. I have not have kids yet, but plan on having them in the future. (god wiling I don't end up the crazy, lonely cat lady!) but even so I decided the tummy had to be done... I realize pregnancy may alter the work,  but it had to happen. So now that I have this wasit line, and no longer have a belly hanging over my hips...I have turned new focus on a possible thigh lift and maybe a breast augmentation.  I am wondering if pregnancy would ruin the lift, it seems like a common sence "duh!" but just wondering if anyone had or heard something different. I also worry about ithe surgery effecting the ability to nurse, I wouldn't want that to happen. The thighs would obviously be fine-but I am holding back on that due to the scariness of the recovery and HUGE probability of incesion tearing! I don't have time for surgical complications, esp. plastic surgery!! I would love to fix these things, but wonder if I should wait.. but my luck would be that I wait, then I STILL end up the cat lady-why? Because I needed a breast and thigh lift.... so it's me and the cats and the saggy boobs and thighs!

I'm not sure about this one. I would assume that it may cause "some" stretching, but I really don't know. I am waiting until after I have kids. Because I think that we will have HUGE kids. Haha. You do look AMAZING! That TT looks so good. Anyway, just wanted to say hi...no real point to me posting. Hope you heal fast!

Hey Jenn, thanks for the support, I am thrilled with the results! I never expected perfection because I accepted the fact that I just won't have the normal body of a 24 year old average girl, because of the choices I made... I just wanted to not worry about my belly showing in clothes and be able to wear MY size and not worry about getting pants UP AND OVER my mound first! I work with my plastic surgeon so I knew him personally and he was so excited about his work, it's so funny. He always points out these little tecniques he did to achieve "such an attractive abdomen!" It's so weird that this is lke the last leg of all this..I stil have 30 big, fat, stubborn as hell pounds to get off, but I am going to be confidant and proud for the first time in 24 years! I have to wait for the swelling! lol Well there doesn't appear to be any reason for my ramble so don't apologize for yours! :) I have nada to do but blog anyway! Take care...by the way I love the hair!   lmao sorry, it's the only hair smiley! It's a super cute cut!

I was curious about the same thing. I havent had the surgery yet but it is something that is on my mind for future purposes. I am only 22 and I already have a 15 month old. I do know that we do want more. Right now I would like to have 1 more for sures but maybe 2.. Depending on how my body is after the WLS. I really dont want my childrens ages spread out alot, so I am planning on waiting the 18 months the surgeons wants me to wait but I really dont want to wait too much after that. I know that I do want to have 1 more BEFORE I have plastics because it would kinda be a waste to do it before and plus id have to wait even longer before I could have another one.  I was curious about having a breast augmentation and being able to breastfeed after.. Can you? I am big on breastfeeding and would hate to not be able to do it in the future. I BF my son till he was 14 months and I loved it... So just curious if you can afterwards..

I spoke to the plastic surgery about getting plastic surgery and wanting kids... he said if I was seriously considering having children soon then I may want to wait on things like the boobs, tummy... he said if it was going to be 3, 4, 5 years or so down the road to just go ahead with it... he said it shouldnt seriously alter the PS results as long as you take care of yourself - if you get preggers and pack on 80lbs well yah you may have some wiggly jiggly wrinkly stuff... but if you have a normal healthy pregnancy everything should go back well.   I personally cant imagine pregnancy effecting a thigh lift unless you gained a lot of weight ?

I just wanted to say that finding your soul mate and having kids is not dependant on plastic surgery. I met my wonderful husband and he loves me despite being overweight. I know it's harder to find guys.... but if he's the right one, semi flaby theighs aren't going to matter. He is very supportive of my surgery (which happens in 2 weeks!) and is even more excited than I am!  I'm just saying that you should do what you need to for yourself and not stress about being a cat lady! The right guy won't matter how many cats you have! :)

I maybe wouldn't go for the breast augmentation - but that is only because I'm not sure you are able to nurse after that, so if nursing is important to you that could be a problem.   But otherwise, I think that if you want to get these things done, go for it and the future with boys and babies will take care of itself.    I hope healing is going well and that you are happy with the results.  I just checked your profile and saw the post-tummy tuck pics - owe, but your belly is starting to look really nice and smooth.

Hey Amy..I feel like such strangers on here with you-I have seen your activity on here yet we've never met! Nice to meet you! Thanks for the reply-I am just proceeding with things, I lived my life waiting for this, that, and the other crap to happen before I would let live! Even after loosing 120lbs, it wasn' t the magical number so I still couldn't even dress for the size I was, no matter what...until now-balls to the wall! After the sweling, of course, I am just going to live it up at every size until I get my last 30 off. I have a new outlook and have to realize I was a sucess, I need to appreciate that! Take care and happy posting! Jessica

Nice to meet you too . And you absolutely are a success.  120 pounds down is amazing, like walking around without an extra person weighing you down.  So heal up and then get back to living this awesome new life.
