Lurker alert...

So I've been a lurker on here for about a month now and thought I would actually introduce myself now.  I fugured it was about time anyway.

So here goes...  My name is Irma and I'm 27 from Minneapolis, MN.  I had gastric bypass surgery on April 11, 2008 so I'm a little over two months out.  Things have been great for me so far and I am officially down 30 lbs since surgery!  Woo-hoo!!!  Picture is from before surgery...  I need to have some new ones taken!

The group here seems super awesome and I have gained so much information!  Haven't tried any of the delicious sounding recipes but I sure have learned a lot.  Thanks for that! irma

Irma!!  Yay for not just being a lurker anymore, we are a great group and always happy to have another person another opinion another friend so congrats on joining us!! Heehee on another subject you had your surgery on my 7 month anev, so yay for the 11th people!! we rule!!  hehee Taking pictures often is awesome for helping us see results too :)    I have a picture of me from before my surgery as painful as it is to look at taped to my mirror in my bathroom as a constant reminder of where I was, and how far i have come!!  its a neat idea!

Amanda!!  I'm going to try to not lurk anymore, but no guarantees there     Sometime, I'm just too shy for my own good.  But thank you so much for the welcome!  YAY How exciting that we were on the same day, seven months apart.  People on the 11th definitely rule!   I've thought often of taking pictures, but I just can't bring myself to do it.  I definitely see the benefits of doing it and hopefully soon I'll be able to bring myself to do it.   I'll keep it in mind.

...well at least take measurements! And welcome out of lurkdom to WLS in your 20's like jaycie said, we're pretty awesome and supportive, very little drama here, just good vibes...

Irma!! Welcome to the board! =]] Don't be a lurker, we love when new 20-somethings join the family! Congrats on your success since surgery! I, too, had my surgery on 4-11-08.  So I know exactly how you feel!! Keep us posted on your jouney!
