Surgery on Friday!!!

Hey everyone......I am going for my surgery in TWO days. I have so many emotions going on but i am very excited most of all. I am going for VBG. How long did it tae for your insisions to heal. My doctor said i cant swim intill they are healed so im wondering if im out for the rest of the summer. has anyone had VBG in the past two years? Im s glad i found this message board. people your own age that understand beeter. Not that older people dont understand but its just easier.

I didn't have VBG... but my RNY wounds healed fairly quickly!

Thanks!1 I have to say i read your story on your profile....and you are not short of an inspration. Your story have really inspired me and i hope in 2 years i could be where yr standing cause right now im at the other end. Did you only need a tummy tuck? did any of your skin go back? My mom trys to tell me because in 23 my skin will most likely go back but i have been hevey my whole life so i find it very hard to belive.
