Got My Surgery Date!

Well today after a long long drive in the car I went to meet the dr for my surgery. I got the date of June 30th. I have to report there on the 29th and then I will be there until July 5th. Sucks that I will miss the 4th of July but that is just the price you have to pay I guess. Can't have your cake and eat it to.  Well I am KINDA excited but not all the way yet.  The Dr. Has to call my insurance people to make sure they are going to approve this before my husband gets his orders to stay in Germany 1 full year.  You see for those of you that haven't followed my journey sofar my husband and I live in Germany and they would like me to be here 1 year post op and we don't have orders from the ARMY saying we for sure are going to be here. Well drs know how to work around that so I should know by the end of next week. I am to tired to really take this all in right now. But I have a whole book on helpful things to know about the RNY. Don't feel bad about missing the 4th. Look at this way -- you wont have to force yourself to put the cake down this year! Or the BBQ ... or what have you. lol

Good for you, and I wish you the very best that Tricare will comply!! I am an ex army wife, my hubby was w/ the 3rd ID in Benning, and than with 2/1 in Alaska :) I missssssssssss our insurance so much!!

About the ticker, you have to copy and paste the actual picture of the ticker (not the link) into your signature everytime that you update it. It gets really monotonous after awile. I did notice the other day that under the "My OH" you can create a health tracker and it's MUCH easier to update than using an outside site... Hope that helps!!

YAYAYAYAY OKAY SO MY INSURANCE COMPANY CALLED THIS MORNING EVERYTHING IS 110% APPROVED AND I AM GOOD TO GO ON JUNE 30TH FOR MY SURGERY! NOW I AM SUUUUUPPPPPER HAPPY AND NERVOUS ALL AT THE SAME TIME...ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL WITH ME? I HAVE TO BE THERE 1 FULL WEEK BLEH. IF Y OU HAVE ANY IDEAS LET ME KNOW. THOUGHT I WOULD UPDATE YOU GUYS THAT IT'S A GO NOW...YAY CAN'T WAIT TO JOIN YOU ALL ON THE LOSERS BENCH!!
