New Here

I have been over in the Onatrio and RNY forums for about a month
This is my first visit to this forum.

I am 27, married with 4 kids and have just been recently approved for RNY by OHIP.

Wowza, 4 kids!  You've got your work cut out for you!. 

Welcome to the board and congratulations on your surgery approval!  Do you have a date yet?

4 kids are not that bad, we have our routine. I couldn't imagine life without routine. They are a great bunch of kids.
My husband and I have been together for 13 years, we had our kids young.
I just got approved by OHIP on July 31st, I have no date for surgery yet.
Hopefully its in the very near future....

wellcome to the board!! wow 4 huh? there is nothing like a big happy family we are also 4  in my fam 3 girls and a boy and ther's nothing better than have a big family and young parents lol. mine were young also when they had us. well not the last one lol

I am new to the site. My name is heather im 23yrs old and i have been married for 4 wonderful yrs and i have 3boys. I weigh 289 pounds and i'm going to do weight loss surgery. But im having a hard time deciding which one. Either i wanna do the lapband or the gastric bypass. I have 6months to decide which one i want to do. Beacuse with my insurance it will take 6months to get approved. Any sugguestions? Has anyone had real bad complications with the lapband or gastric bypass?
