 When I join groups on fb does everyone see? Does it have a discreet name? There are some acquaintances on fb I'd rather not know about my WLS because frankly its none of their business.

I can't say for every group, but this group is a closed group so nothing that you post on here will show up on your personal page and the group wont either.  But your actual FB name would show in the group.
