Any thoughts!! HELP!!!

Just posted on the sept surgery page but thought ya'll might be able to help too. I am 43 and just had the surgery sept 16. I started having several menstrual cramps sunday and they got so severe at one point, they woke me up. I have discussed with surgeon and with pcp and next on the list is GYn(hopefully tomorrow. Did anyone else have severe painful cramps first period after surgery?

YOU BETHCHA. I thought that something went wrong at first but it eased up after a couple of days. And the next period was bad to not as bad but still...ouch.. the last one I had was back to normal... Good luck..Cyndee

If you continue to have tis problem have your PCP or GYN prescribe a muscle relaxer they are a life saver.Just ask my Hubby.LOL!!! Cathy
