Welcome to NewLife WLS Support Group. We started out in Harrington at the firehouse in 2005 because there was no support groups at the time in Kent and only one in Sussex County so you had to go to New Castle County to attend most groups. This presented a real need in Delaware. I am proud to say 2 years later that we now have groups in every county. I have extended my group to the Long Neck Area and thanks to Obesity Help we can now connect online from anywhere. The only requirement is you be a member of Obesity Help. My personal group is held the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Community Church of Oak Orchard at 7p.m. All are welcome to attend. I also would encourage all to check out the Delaware message board for support group Listings each month. Elissa hart does a great job of keeping the list updated. It is my belief that you can never attend to many support groups for they are a big key to success in this journey. I wish all great success and hope all remember where ever you are in your journey that you are never alone. Surgery is a tool. We have to learn how to use it properly. Our everyday struggles still exist and thats why groups exist. So reach out and touch someone. Post often for you never know who you will touch ! See all lighter and WELCOME!!!
