I want to start a support and information group for those attending the Ottawa Civic Weight Management Clinic. The process to weight loss surgery can be complicated and full of obstacles. It's important to know everything about the process and what to expect. My hope is that people in Ottawa can share their experiences and be open about answering questions to help others.

Reflections are about us. I thought long and hard in using this as a group name. I feel we need to reflect on our past about our weight problem. I do reflect every day about my problem I had. And now I reflect on my future to see what my reflection will be.

This is a group for vegetarian and vegan recipes. I've become frustrated in my search for recipes for WLS patients that have no meat in them. I've run into many ppl that assume vegetarians can't be obese. Not true!

We are a group for people that have undergone any kind of weight loss surgery. We also welcome anyone that is considering surgery too. We welcome men, women, older patients, younger patients, anyone who is looking for support in their Weight Loss journey.
