That recipe looks tasty but I'm probably too lazy to make it. I did screen print it in case I get motivated after we get home.
You are so sweet to the dogs. Do you put any additives in so they get calcium, etc? I have this vague recollection that when I looked into making food for my old dogs that the recioes had crushed eggshells?

The day got away from me, I guess. I had an appointment at 10 am to look at an apartment for my dad in the memory care side of his assisted living place. That was a no go because it was a suite of rooms shared by three women. Yeah, no.... NOT a good idea. So, I didn't even go look at the rooms.
11 am dentist appointment, then on to Trader Joe's to pick up some supplies for my dad (and eggs for us) then home for lunch. At 2 pm I had vet appointments for 2 dogs. Finished that, came home sat around for a bit and then hit the gym around 5 pm. I've got to feed the dogs and cook dinner so we have something to eat when Ron gets back from his liturgy meeting with the new pastor. (Though I'm tempted to hit El Pollo Loco for Taco Tuesday!)
Oh, I was in such fine spirits while at Trader Joe's, I bought a bouquet of Sunflowers for my side table. I've a sense of calm lately. Feels good.
I agree with everyone about visiting Auschwitz. It will be a powerful experience. Visiting the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam had a strong impact on me. While it was sobering, there was a sense of its overpowering historical importance that was inspiring. I visited several historical WWII sites while on the cruise. Powerful reminders of the past and how it happened. It was impossible not to make correlations to some of what is going on in our own country today.
Later...
Sense of calm maybe because all your days can be like this going forward?
I am surprised that your Dads place would suggest mixing a suite. Usually they don't.
DH LOVES his Hokas. Me not so much as I could not get used to the extended sole and kept tripping. Luckily my big feet are the same size as DH's small feet so he inherited my Hokas.
