116.4

Yesterday was rainy half the day but it cleared in the afternoon so Justice got a couple of good walks in. We should get a good one this morning but it is only 57 out so I need to wear a jacket. So weird after it being so hot just a few days ago.

The sun is back today but I think it will feel chilly with a strong wind from the north. DH was thinking we would go to the beach mid-day but I am not sure about that.

Tonight we are going to my former town to have dinner with SIL and my DS (my DS is coming to visit her for the weekend). Fish will likely be the choice of the day.

Have a satisfying Saturday!

Liz, doesn't sound like the best beach weather. Enjoy your meet up with DS and DSIL.

Good grief Diane, Nazi salute? Really?!! Does that person still plan on being part of your co op? Some people are so unable to self regulate, and then have to take their off kilter emotions and do outrageous things.

Nice weather today. The art fair was at a lovely park in Minneapolis with many vendors. Our young friend was in a great location, and there were a lot of people in her tent. When we stopped by net tent towards the end of the day, her inventory looked lower. Yeah!

In addition to picking up a few things from her booth, we bought some nice elm cutting boards. What cutting boards I have are worn and warped. I thought it would be nice to have a pretty board since it is something I use most days. I love when tools I use everyday can also be aesthetically pleasing. Sometimes function has to outweigh form, but sometimes they can co exist :)

Last night we had a bonfire with our young guests. We had moved our brush pile, so there was some bare dirt. The kids asked if they could dig, and they entertained themselves with finding and relocating worms. Not sure if the worms were entertained, but they were not harmed at any rate.

No big plans tomorrow. Perhaps this will be the Sunday I actually read my NYT paper without interruption. Hoping so :)

Very nice to support your friend at the art fair. I know I always enjoy visits from my friends when I am doing one. I do feel a little guilty if they buy something but I know they just want to show their support and it is never a big priced item!

I hope you do indeed get to enjoy your NYT read tomorrow!

It would be nice if you could sit and read your entire paper today. Good luck!

Greetings all

Pleasantly overcast here now. I had several items to do (like 3) and made a list. Stopped me from blowing off item 3 which as assemble this swiffer damp mop so I can mop up dust in my studio. Works ok. I really need to do better on that as clay dust is unhealthy.

Yeah I have determined the identity of the nazi person. Still a member. I am not going to make a stink but will bide my time...Another one of the glass members came in and made a fuss demanding a refund, Thing is, she was six months behind on her dues already. So she left in a huff and left a couple of nasty notes on the door. Geez, these are grown ups.

Fish for dinner Liz! Always nice. I am making steak tonight. But I am reminded that there is fresh albacore at the docks here these days. Must do that. Enjoy the chill weather.

DD sounds like fun for your vendor friend. Hope it was indeed a good sale. Craft fairs and markets are such a treat. Summer's finest.

So my niece has one of our puppies from four years ago that she planned to show as an agility dog. She had sort of a rocky start with short attention span. But my niece showed her yesterday and turns out she did a pretty good job. Shows promise. I am grateful because I selected that puppy for her and was afraid I had given her an ADD dog. Just needed to grow up a bit.

So the the other items on my list were to go to the clay store (done) and make four little pairs of underpants out of clay (3 done). I have made these little items that look like boxer shorts and are sort of a shot glass and someone at the studio wants some.

DH and I are watching the latest star trek series. It is pretty good as it is true to the original and there are only a few explosions per hour. More about drama and the characters.

Beam me up Scottie... Diane S

LOL, I always wished I could beam myself places after watching Star Trek.

Yeah, slugs in undies could be pretty funny

121.7. Still low. I'm going to skip my shot tomorrow and maybe take it Wednesday or Thursday.

Celebrated DSDs bday at Olive Garden and then came home and had a cookie cake. Her aunt, uncle and cousin from her Mom's side of the family joined us.

Haze is still present and air quality was back to unhealthy for all people this evening. Sure is getting old! It isn't supposed to clear up until Tuesday or Wednesday I guess.

Plan on going out for breakfast for a change tomorrow. Our bus won't leave as early as Liz's. We all like to sleep in a bit, especially the kids!

Hope you had a nice dinner and visit with DS and SIL Liz! Hopefully your weather will improve so a decent beach day can be enjoyed!

Peps, hope the dog show is going well.

CC, loved the pics of Kirby on FB. Hope your Dad is feeling better!

Diane, you got your list completed! Yay!

Sounds like a nice weekend with DSD! I haven't been to Olive Garden for years. I love their salad, bread, and eggplant. They do a good job for a chain restaurant.
