117 after 1.5 pieces of pizza last night.
Mostly smooth trip to Florida yesterday though it was still a long day. Justice was as always a trooper. Poor DH had to carry the bag I brought stuffed to the gill - it weighed a lot. Looks like a Mary Poppins bag and I filled it as if it was LOL.
While we were on the way to the airport I got a txt from our handyman that the parking lot which was paved 2 weeks ago was still closed off. Our garage comes off that lot. We were told that the paving would take 2 days, so had to contact the property manager to find out what was up. We had 4 communications with them, 1 conversation and 2 emails saying that we could drive out but replace the tape blocking it and park outside of the lot, but then a voicemail from while we were flying that said we couldn't drive on it. We chose to stick with the majority of responses especially since we were aware that the paver's trucks had driven over it. The car is out of the garage and parked next door.
Glitch #2 was that the toilet in the main bath isn't working. I think our handyman needs to fix something. Glitch #3 was that I ended up locked outside of the condo while DH went to get the pizza. I went downstairs with him to take the car off the trickle charger and retie the tape at the entrance. I didn't bring my phone or keys. Went I went back up the door was locked. We have a key in a key safe but I wasn't sure of the code and couldn't even read the numbers because it was dark and I didn't have my glasses. So I took a walk while waiting. Justice wasn't thrilled because he was in the condo waiting for dinner.
Nice to be back though the weather forecast is iffy. Hard to know what it will be like as thunderstorms forecasted often don't seem to hit our area. Also weird to have it still be dark at 6 am. Sunrise in Massachusetts is 5:40, but it doesn't rise until 6:48 here.
Hopefully we can get a Justice walk in after the sun rises. I have a hair appointment at 9 am so we need to efficient with our time this morning. Tonight we are going to Happy Hour and dinner with friends.
Have a fiscal Friday!

Definitely the right decision on the car. I can see why they wouldn't want in and out all day, but one out isn't going to impact anything. I hope the pizza was good after the snafu! I LOLed at the thought of Justice's indignation waiting for his meal!
CC, glad you finally got blue skies! It's hazy here right now, but I believe it is actually real clouds and not smoke. But a little hard to tell.
Peps, are you driving or flying to Minnesota?
Diane, you'll have to let us know how you feel about shorter hair. The good thing is if you find you don't care for it, all you have to do is let it grow and you're back to where you were.
Paula, good sales vibes at the art fair! Once you're there, are you tempted to go buy things from other vendors?
The baseball game was a lot of fun last night. We have the major league Twins over in Minneapolis, and this team, the St. Paul Saints is their AAA feeder team. Less expensive, smaller and easier to access stadium, and funny little games between innings where they recruit fans to do things like put on TRex costumes and do relay races. It was warm, but as the sun went down, the breeze was absolutely marvelous, and the almost full moon was very pretty.
No particular plans today. I'm trying to decide what to do about working out. My hip hurts quite a bit, but its not muscles being sore so much. It feels more like tendons. I think I'm going to do some gentle stretches and still go. I am having a lot of trouble with my left side in general, but it always feels better after I work out.
After that, some putzing around. It's going to be 92 and humid, so I guess its air conditioning inside. Not my favorite, but also, I'm really grateful for the option just the same.
I hope your hip pain isn't arthritis. That's about the only place where I don't have it too bad. My remaining shoulder, knees and lower back are a different story.

122.4. Ice cream is working. The risotto with cream, butter and Parmesan cheese might have helped as well!
leaving soon to go set up for the art fair. It is hot, hot, hot! Chance of some storms with possible high wind gusts. Hope my tent will be okay!
Those glitches don't sound fun at all Liz. You are a trooper! Justice too for having to stay inside waiting for dinner!
DD, I am tempted to buy from other vendors but if it is busy like Door County was, I won't have time to peruse much.
Last art fair? Hopefully you will sell a lot!

Greetings all
It is sunny today. Also noisy. We are only about a mile from the airport and there is an airshow this weekend with all kinds of vintage planes and aerobatic lanes and such. It is fun to see but all these noisy little propeller planes are flying low over our house! Loud.
So I worked at the gallery this afternoon and it was quite busy. Sold lots of stuff and many visitors. Good to be home.
Last night I made chicken and rice with pesto sauce. It was really good. I think I will eat more tonight in spite of the fact that DH brought home pizza from lunch.
So Liz no fun to be locked out. Could have been worse I guess. Even so, Justice suffered!! Hope the parking lots are done soon.
Good luck at the craft show Paula. Seems like it is hotter than hades everywhere. There are heat warnings around here for the inland areas. It means all those people will come to the coast for coolness.
DD wishing you coolness and peace. Actually wish that for everyone. Hope your hip stops hurting. I think you are right that a little exercise, not too heavy, will help. Or maybe chiropractor.
Not much else. Getting a glass of wine to buffer the airplane noise. Thankfully the dogs are not bothered by it.

LOL, the first and only time I went to a Chiropractor, I was so startled when they adjusted my back I involuntarily screamed. I thought it felt just awful. So I guess it's not for me. I've done a lot of PT though. May have to again. I see how mobility slips away, so I'll keep trying to solve this puzzle of the sore hip.
Chicken, rice and pesto sauce does sound tasty. When there are air shows here it is the Blue Angels. Very different noises than you had I would guess and sometimes they come very close so it is a bit nerve wracking.
