118 - still 1.2 pounds more than I was 3 days ago, but .4 less than 2 days ago. I won't weigh again until Friday because we are going places again this week.
Yesterday we did the Tiki Bar lunch, followed by outdoor venue for music, and a final stop at a bar where the bartender is basically a comedian. I did slip in a good walk and water aerobics before that though. Chinese takeout for dinner and a friend of mine came over to meet the girls. I put away the ton of leftovers in the refrigerator and went to bed at 9. The food will pretty much all have to be tossed out later today before we leave.
We will go to the beach club around 10, hang around there and have lunch until mid-afternoon. Then clean-up, pack, and get the condo closed down again. Hopefully at least some of the sheets and towels will get washed before we leave but if not I will do them when I return in a month. I have already started my closing list to make sure I don't forget anything.
I am looking forward to seeing DH tonight. Our plane doesn't get in until after 10 and he will have driven 1.75 hours to pick me up. He got a hotel room at the airport for the night so he doesn't have to drive back right away. When he went home on Thursday his flight got delayed and he didn't get back home until 2:30 am.
Another beautiful sunrise this morning. Too bad the girls sleep in too late to see it. Have a spectacular Sunday!

I guess the bus didn't leave this morning. Do you think this girl's trip is going to become an annual event?
We did it all yesterday. Started with drinks and apps on the porch. Then we moved to the dining room for salad and entree. After that, hot tub. Finished with dessert and bonfire.
I know we've talked about china before. Mine went in the dishwasher last night because it's not going to be handed down because so far, neither kid wants it. It doesn't matter then whether I baby it or not. I might as well make it easy to use. What's left of it will go to a charity shop when I die. I see so many beautiful sets at thrift stores and I would love to own all of it, but I just don't have the storage space.
In a little bit, we will head to the airport to pick up Aussie sister. Later this week, we were going to drive her out to my parent's house where she would borrow one of their 3 vehicles to drive around during her stay. Sadly, due to refusal to pay for even standard maintenance, only one vehicle is running. Sigh. A nice Chevy Traverse is sitting, rotting in their garage. So we may be taking her to a rental location, and then she can proceed out to my parent's house on her own schedule.
DH and I will visit on Wednesday. I have a routine physical on Monday, my Mom has an appointment Tuesday, so Wednesday it is. After that, time to turn my attention to travel. I leave Minneapolis to Boston on August 28. DD and I travel to Scotland on the 29th. We return to Boston on September 8, where DH will meet me and we will continue on a 2 week vacation in Massachusetts and upstate New York.
Time to head out to the airport!
Sounds like a nice party at your house. DD has my best china and DS has a secondary set but I moved all my Waterford glasses and vases down to Florida. I used to use them once a year but now we are using them all the time.
You are going to be on the move! When do you meet Peps?

Greetings all
Another overcast day but no rain. I am slowly getting my trip act together by getting out the suitcase getting laundry done, making a start of a list and so forth. More pot pie for tonight. I was tempted to blow off the gym but made myself go. The more disciplined person that lives in my head won out as opposed to the lazy free spirit. But tomorrow is full of the Monday errands routine so I may skip tomorrow.
Beautiful sunrise Liz. Like Paula I rarely see them. Too many trees to the east plus I don't get up. Sounds like a nice days worth of events.
DD don't we all have someone's treasured china? I have my grandmothers Havalind which has not seen the light of day since we moved. I would love for someone to have it who would value it but no clue who that would be. So cool that you used yours. My niece has my mom's stuff and I doubt it gets used.
Must be national lunch with mom day Paula. Glad you had a good one.
We started watching The Pitt last night. Very much like the old ER show. Good drama but DH gags at the gross stuff they show.
Well the dogs have started lobbying. Must be that time of day.

Making progress on trip packing!
My MIL had beautiful Havilind china which no one wanted when she died. We couldn't even sell it to an antiques dealer because they said no one wants that stuff anymore. There must have been 20 place settings and every serving piece one could ever imagine. I do wish someone in the family had taken it.
