119.2 - up 1.2 since yesterday morning. Could be the scale change but on the other hand I have already pooped 3 times since weighing. I had that skinny pasta last night which has super low calories but maybe a lot of fiber? I ate a lot of it. Oh and some of the popcorn left over from the girls trip... (I did dump the rest of it)
Lots to do today: set up new iPad, unpack, dust some surfaces, think about moving furniture around in preparation for the old sofa leaving and the new ones coming in this week. Oh yeah, and pay my federal tax estimate today.
But first a Justice walk while it is still in the low 70's. It is just getting light out here at 6:50 so I will wait a little bit.
Have a super sunny Sunday!

I bet it feels great to be back in the Florida warmth, Liz! Me, I'm ready for autumn. It's been a little warm here - 80s to 90s. Not the nicest dog show weather for a breed that prefers the climes of northern England and Scotland! I have to admit though, that I like the idea of being able to wear shorts, and flip flops all year long!
Weight was back down to 202.9 this morning - a much preferable weight for my brain. It's nice that I don't have to do anything but stay the course for my weight to normalize these days.
Buster had a great dog show yesterday - Owner Handled Reserve Best in Show (basically #2 of all the owner handled dogs entered - meaning he beat several hundred dogs!)
Dad is being prescribed new meds. The ones he takes have not been doing the job. He's been more agitated and frustrated lately. The palliative care providers are concerned that his quality of life is diminishing. Umm... duh???? Yet, I understand the new meds could make his daily life less frustrating for him. I know the meds will help the memory care providers deal with him, but I also don't want Dad to be over medicated. It's a fine line. I think my visits will need to increase in the coming months. Lots to manage with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Super Sunday from the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club!
Medication with dementia is tough to wrap one's head around. Over-medicated may keep them non-combative and not scared. I never would have thought that but it was what happened with deceased DH. When he couldn't understand what was going on in the last stage he was frightened and lashed out (like a dog does when they don't feel safe). Sometimes medication is the only solution even though they may end up out of it. Such a sucky disease.

Yes! Screen AND glass sliders. So year-round no matter the weather.

124.8. Right where I should be!
I over did activity yesterday and paid for it with swelling and increased pain and awful fatigue! Doing better today!
More virtual home visits today and another day of them scheduled for tomorrow. I think we have 4 out of 10 on the yes list to see when we get to FL so far with a few ranking higher than the rest!
So glad you are back in FL Liz. The view from your lanai is beautiful and I loved the pic of your Justice walk on FB.
Congrats Peps on your dog show ranking! You looked great in the pics BTW! It is nice to see a man in a suit. Kind of rare these days! You seriously don't look like you have 200 lbs. on you. I would guess 170!
DD, you are having such a great vacation. So many hotels in such a short time would drive me nuts though I think.
Has anyone heard from CC? Or have her phone number to check in on her? I'm getting a little worried something is up!
I love that you are able to do those virtual tours. Such a great advantage.
I am happy to be warm but also this is my home now which makes me happy being here. DH's home on the Cape is great but I will always feel like I am just visiting.

The same! I learned from your experiences - thank you!

Greetings all
The sun finally popped put. Yay. Got my usual slow start today but finally did some gallery banking. I also started a pot roast in the slow cooker this morning so we will have a feast tonight. It smells great and seems pretty tender. Thyme, a bay leaf, salt and pepper and a cup of red wine make a great roast. DH does not know about the wine. It is good sized roast for the two of us so dogs will get to share.
I had to force myself to get to the gym. I was feeling old and achey and did not want to go but bargained with myself that if I go I could quit early. Well once I get halfway done I might as well do it all. So sitting here smugly with a glass of fair life milk.
Gallery duty again tomorrow so it will be a busy day with kiln opening also.
Peps that pic at the show is great! Love the casual element. It that the show that is at the Marin County civic center? Bet it is a really big one so your win is all the more special!
My 2 cents on your Dad's meds: my mother was prescribed some anti anxiety meds and sleeping meds that crazy pat would not let her take because she did not want my mother doped. I regret that I did not stand up to her more and get my mom the meds. Hoping your Dad is comfortable with whatever is worked out. Seems like feeling a little dopey is better than being fearful.
Liz we love your view. Dolphins please.
Paula please don't overdo it. And what a great way to look at houses! Nice. Good luck. Sounds like a good way to eliminate the NO WAY places.
Time to add the carrots and potatoes.
