That's an interesting trip excursion in Brazil!

I think a lot of shows that are built around existing music have light storylines because the music is the show. But entertaining if done well. A Dolls House is not my favorite play. A bit too dark for me.

Greetings all

Yet another sunny day. No clouds. I did my gym walking and listened to Taylor Swift and some Dua Lipa. Good stuff. Who knew I would ever like music not from the 60's. I also did some gallery banking as there was a lot of stuff piled up. The next mission is to go through some boxes of papers to find my Dads military record. Brother keeps bugging me about it so he can get USAA insurance. Our dad died 30plus years ago so I don't have much. I have half a notion to tell him to come here and sort through this stuff but it won't kill me to do it.

Hi CC congrats on getting Kirby coifed. Sounds like a serious project. Remind me I need to take my two to a groomer. No way can I do that anymore. Wishing you safe travels south and no scorpions on arrival.

Party sounds great Liz. Kids that age are always a hoot. Hope the niece recovers from what is bothering her. Not fun.

DD is marked safe from goose poop! Glad the Neil Diamond musical was good. You guys really have so much great theater there. Enjoy more.

Paula, any house news?

Maybe more quesadillas tonight. This time with refried beans.

Crap I have a doctor apt later in the week and forgot the blood draw. Fasting labs tomorrow. I hate doing that on a Monday.

Cheers all.

We have USAA, worth the hassle of finding the papers IMO!

We have USAA courtesy of my father in laws service in the Airforce. Now our kids have it too. Thanks Joe

I didn't realize I could get USAA insurance based on my Dad's service. I have NO papers though as he died almost 60 years ago and my mother died 15 years ago. My moves since then have eliminated all the old papers.

123 or maybe 124 something. I can't remember! Appetite still increased with unhealthy cravings so I took my first shot in over 6 weeks. Curious to see how it goes!

No news on the house front except that our buyers might have a few more showings. I don't think the family that looked at our house will make an offer. They are looking more for a 2 story and we have a ranch, though the basement is finished with a bedroom, full bath, bar area and family room.

Costco orange chicken for dinner. I really don't like their sauce, too much vinegar so tonight I blended 2 little snack sized cups of mandarin oranges up and added it to the sauce provided with the chicken and thickened it a bit with a corn starch slurry. So much better!

Glad the party went well Liz and sounds like you have more fun plans for visiting. No breakfast bus today eh? Maybe that's why you thought it was Monday!

DD, Brazil plans are coming together. You will have an awesome time!

Safe travels back to AZ CC. Hope your spirits start to feel better soon!

Yeah, I wonder how long it takes tirzepatide to kick back in again when stopped for a few weeks? Will be interesting to hear.

Sorry the house thing is dragging on. Wouldn't it be nice if your buyers got a cash offer with a timely closing date?

We did go on the breakfast bus yesterday LOL. I just can't keep track of what day it is!

East coast dog shows are over. Today was the big deal - Montgomery County Kennel Club. It's an all terrier show. The largest all terrier show on the planet, I believe. Crufts has a bigger entry, but it's not solely a terrier show. 5 days of showing is a lot. Buster is exhausted. Even Grizz who showed only 3 days seems pretty wiped out. Me? I'm pooped, but satisfied. Overall, really good results. Grizz went Winners Dog (best of all the non champion males) from the 6 month to 9 month puppy class on Thursday. AMAZING! The next day he was reserve winners dog (first runner up). Buster was overlooked the first two shows altogether. But after that he was in the final line up or in the ribbons for the final 4 shows. Today he earned what I hoped for - an Award of Merit at the national specialty with 84 Airedales entered. The icing of the prize is that for the 125th anniversary of the club I orchestrated the commission of a sculpture for trophy plaques. Buster's award of merit earned him/me one of those beautiful bronze trophies/plaques. I am thrilled.

I will start the drive home tomorrow, but will only go as far as Ohio. I don't feel the need to rush home on the first day after such an exhausting week and a half.

I've eaten what I've eaten the past 10 days. Not to much thought given to it and a lot of eating on the run. I'm hoping my activity level being fairly high will compensate for the extra non nutritional calories I've consumed.

BTW, temperature today in Macungie, PA was in the mid 80s. We've had gorgeous weather here all week.

It's late and I'm tired so it's off to bed!
