Well, we never made it to the show last night. We went out to dinner with our friends and had a great meal, but when it was time to go to the show it started pouring so hard that it would be almost impossible to see driving and the theatre is set really far back from the road/parking. By the time we made it into the theatre we would have been soaked clear through. We ended up staying at the restaurant for an extra 1.5 hours waiting for the rain to subside enough to drive. At that point the show would have only had 1/2 hour left. 2.5 inches of rain here last night. The golf courses are so wet they can't be used at all today (yesterday they were allowing walking on 9 holes of the drier golf course). It is supposed be quite rainy again today, but start to dry up tomorrow and be beautiful by Sunday. Touch and go as to whether the courses will be dry enough to have the Sunday afternoon Wine and Dine event currently planned (which we are planning to go to).
Nothing much on the calendar today other than yoga and some vaccines at the pharmacy. I'm getting 3 of them at the same time.
Have a fine Friday!

Back from my quest to get my haircut. I made my next appointment which will be 5 days before we leave for Brazil!
Good heavens Peps, your day yesterday sounds insane! And so many dogs in your care. It's a terrier version of 101 Dalmatians. I hope your trip was/is less eventful today.
I left the house at 10:30am, and just got home at 4pm. I guess color and a cut is an almost all day process. It's always fun to chat with my niece and hear about my great nephews and their escapades. Not much else going on. Tomorrow a music concert, Sunday we just added meeting friends for dinner, and Thursday we are hosting a birthday party for BFF, where I will attempt to cram 10 people around my dining room table. I've done it before, but it's a tight fit when all 10 are adults. If you pick a chair at the back of the table, make sure your bladder is empty, because you're probably not going anywhere until dinner is done.
Tonight, pizza, Netflix and chill with DH. As Liz said, I hope everyone else is having a fine Friday, maybe followed up by a sassy Saturday : )
Brazil coming soon!!!!
And are you already wondering how you found time to work?

Greetings all
It's raining it's pouring.... Actually not a downpour but steady rain. It was predicted and should stop soon. I slept really late this morning I think due to lack of light, It actually reaches a point where it does not seem to do me any good. Oh well- early day tomorrow due to gallery duty'
So I did the gym but felt really tired and stopped a little early. I don't want to make it a habit but if it gets miserable I will quit. Then I went to the studio which was packed as it always is in rainy weather. More glazing. DH did lunch at the chinese buffet and brought some home. Dinner tonight solved. I bought a spaghetti squash the other day and will attempt it over the weekend. They say the hardest part is cutting it in half.
Quite the flood Liz. Hope it departs soon. Yeah no sense going out on a super rainy night Good luck on 3 shots. You are a pin cushion!
Enjoy the night out DD. My dining table is also like window seats on an airplane. If I get it full then you must stay out. Got to get organized for Halloween which will be my event here. Do you still have flowers? Enjoy.
Football tomorrow after my short shift at the gallery for two hours. I may have mentioned several of us are covering for our friend whose son is in bad shape. She is our treasurer and I half way expect her to resign due to this issue with her son. Understandable but meanwhile we are without financials. Others can get into the bank account so that is not an issue. We shall see.
We have been watching a series called High Potential about a quirky smart woman who becomes a police consultant. Formulaic but fun.
Safe travels Peps. Good on you for rescuing the Toto's. Hard to imagine the I-80 rest stop with 12 dogs to potty. Lincoln Nebraska is my home town. It is where Runza's were invented. Sorry you did not get more. Were you in the downtown at the bank?
Not much else. Must get organized. Maybe tomorrow.....
