118.4 - down a pound without doing much different.

One more night at home. Right now we are on the claustrophobic lanai (plastic is still on) listening to it flap in the wind. Weird. They took the plastic off of our neighbor's windows on Saturday so at least they are all set to have views for their Christmas company arriving this week. I am glad we will be gone while all our other windows are wrapped up.

The Nine and Dine was fun yesterday. We came in 8th out of 14 in our section. Not too bad considering 3 of us are beginners. We play best ball on these and my ball was actually the ball used several times. The only downer was the husband of the friends we played with got frustrated, threw his golf club in the air and it landed right in the middle of a pond. Luckily his clubs aren't super expensive.

I lost my vial of tirzepatide when I dropped it in the floor last night (after I used it). They are really small vials and it must have rolled way under the refrigerator or something. At least there wasn't much left in it!

Today the housekeepers come, laundry needs to get done, a small amount of packing will be done, then we will forage through leftovers for dinner. We need to leave for the airport tomorrow morning at about 6:45 am.

Have a mistletoe Monday!

Oh my goodness! I would have laughed out loud at the guy acting like a 2 year old throwing his golf club into the pond! Why do adults act like that?

I also would have searched under the fridge for the missing vial! Liquid gold that stuff is!!

I have tried to sweep under the fridge but still can't find it!

121.6, still trending up and it's going up a lot faster than it comes down! Boooooo!

I was going to try water aerobics for the first time today but it is a bit windy and the feels like temp is only 61. Too cold for these bones! Hopefully tomorrow. DH will be golfing anyway, so it will be good for me to get out and about. Maybe I can convince DH to go for a walk this morning! At least I can wear a light jacket if needed!

We did go to Bonefish grill last night. It was pretty good. I got lobster stuffed shrimp. Tonight will be teriyaki pineapple chicken on the grill.

One wee****il we leave for WI! Brrrrrrrr! Need to go look for some stocking stuffers and things to play silly games with. The "kids" like the competition type games like getting ping pong balls in cups etc!

I skipped water aerobics with all the wind today too - I will be cold enough by tomorrow afternoon.

Greetings all

Up early today and futzing about. It did rain a little but it is not an atmospheric river. I think we will get more rain all week long.

So studio buddy came to watch football and brought pizza and it was fun. She always wants DH to help her with iPhone and stuff which he is happy to do but he recommends doing all updates as issued and she does not want to. I am not entirely sure why but I think it is because she is afraid of losing some functions or changes in format. I feel her pain as I hate when everything gets moved around but as DH says, you just gotta do it. But anyway it was good and ended at a reasonable hour. She lives in a cabin in the woods and is worried about this rain storm and debris getting in culverts around her house.

Lots to do today like go to CVS and get all the stuff i forgot last time, get dog food, go to studio etc. We still have some pot roast to eat. And I decided I am making one batch of cookes and got stuff for it - Russian tea cakes. It is a mistake to shop for basic white flour and powdered sugar at the health food store as they have a zillion kinds - coconut flour and gluten free who knows what. I think I found the normal kind.

Congrats on the 9 and dine Liz. Not a bad finish. LOL on the guy who tossed his golf club into the pond. I bet it is full of them. I have never understood the male need to throw and break stuff when angry. Safe travels,

Paula glad your DH is finding golf. Good time for you to walk and explore. Ever play the game Cards Against Humanity? Funny but rude.

DD stay warm in Duluth. You have given me cookie inspiration.

Kiln opened this morning. I sold lots of stuff yesterday. Must make more.

I am seriously bummed on the reports of death of Rob Reiner and his wife. He was a great guy and the incident is shaping up to be a hideous tragedy.

He was a terrific filmmaker and I am so saddened by the murder of him and his wife. Horrific way to go and at the hands of your child...unthinkable.

Agree!

We bought the knock off of Cards against Humanity called Crabs against Humidity and played it once. It was too raunchy, or more accurately politically incorrect, even for the kids. We tossed it! They can take sexually overt stuff but get into bigotry, racism, etc. and we are out!

Very sad news indeed. Such a tragedy.
