119.6 - up .2, so not significant. My body must have decided to hang here for now.
We did end up going to Key West yesterday as the friend with hip pain decided she felt better moving and her husband brought his walker. We only walked a short way with them though. We dropped them off and came back to hit a few spots for music, then got the car and picked them up. They had never been to any of the hot spots in Key West even though they have been coming to the Keys for several years. They would just go to selected restaurants where they could either park nearby (with the handicapped placard) or be dropped off. I think they enjoyed it but the husband was exhausted. On the way back we stopped at a restaurant we had gone to at the end of last week and I had the same meal of a stone crab claw and triple tail fish with coleslaw. It was just as yummy as last week.
Today we are headed the other direction to Marathon to another tiki bar type place for lunch and music. Our routine has been to have one meal out per day (late lunch or early dinner). They like to eat by 4 or 5, then are in bed by 8 and up at 4 am. Seems like a weird schedule for retired people, but it works for them. We have been okay with the early dinners and just flip our usual afternoon snack to an evening one here. Our usual schedule is more like lunch at noon, snack at 3, and dinner at 6:30. Bed at 10, then up at 6.
Not much else to report. Yesterday was just a 2 deer day after the amazing 5 deer one. I think going out earlier to walk means more deer sightings. Have a winsome Wednesday!

BTW, we did try to watch the Olympics last night but gave up after watching a bunch of curling. Boring after a while IMHO. I know the network likes to put the figure skating on later to keep people watching but it just means that we give up.

Glad to hear the weather is improving in Florida, and that those cute little deer are protected (although sadly because they are endangered) Yeah to nice weather for your folks CC. Probably felt wonderful to them after Michigan weather. And yes, why are Costcos always so crowded? They must have good logisitical information and don't overbuild. Diane your DH is awesome as he runs interference for you so you can avoid the big box stores. My DH makes a great Uber Eats guy. Peps, interested to hear what you decided about hair length : )
I'm making pretty detailed postings on Facebook so you don't need to hear all the details again. I'm very happy here. DH is talking about returning for several months in the future. Yesterday as we sat on another gorgeous beach, I thought of all the things I longed for when I was younger: to be a normal weight, to wear pretty clothes, to go to cool bars and hear music, to hang out with friends more, to be someplace warm... and here I am. If only I could have told my younger self, hang in there, the things you're dreaming of are coming your way!

Greetings all
Sun today. Our housekeeper returned and cleaned which was needed. As mentioned she broke her leg walking dogs and has been laid up. Seems to be well now. So after that I did the gym. The bloodmobile was at the shopping center so I decided to stop and donate but it was 2;58 and they close at 3 so no dice. Another time I guess. They have been begging for blood on the local tv station but oh well.
Liz those deer are so cute. I assume you are not supposed to feed them. I have been thinking about what you could add to chili to replace beans: 1. more tomatoes and onions, 2. zucchini. 3. corn. 4. chopped up potatoes. And yeah I don't understand why anyone would get up at 4 am but whatever. DH gets up before I do and busies himself with kitchen stuff. By 11 am he is ready for his first nap.
CC enjoy your guests. We know that Kirby is. Our dogs were thrilled to see the housekeeper as she pet sits them too.
Alas the chili is all gone so it will be shrimp tonight. I need to start in on some tax stuff for the gallery but don't feel like fighting with the web site. If someone wants to invent some useful AI product how about making CA government web sites more user friendly.
DD we are loving your travel tales. Great looking beaches and charming scenes. Yep you guys have it all.

Congrats on having your housekeeper back - she must be glad be able to move around too!
Good idea on the chili - I think I may have to try it this week when we are home again. Assuming all goes well In getting our refrigerator on Monday, it will be a big shopping day.

Liz, a tiki bar with live music is right up my alley! You and I would get along just fine!
119.2, I guess I eat less when DH is gone!
No water aerobics this morning. The 9:00 class was held at 8:30 and the 10:00 class was cancelled because most of the ladies were going to be going to the monthly ladies luncheon!
My former coworker who is spending a month in North Fort Myers (though leaves this coming Monday already) came over today and we walked almost 5 miles! Goes quickly when chatting with a friend.
Tomorrow we will walk again and do dinner out together since DH is gone! I will do the 9:00 water aerobics too. Skipping phone in Bible study to enjoy the sunny day!
Leftovers again tonight (the Thai red curry soup). That's the last of the leftovers except for some farro. Good thing I'm going out to eat tomorrow. Have not cooked since DH left. Still have not turned on the t.v.
Golf cart issue won't get resolved. Business responded to the BBB complaint and won't budge. I did find out that they did not bait and switch us though, the cart is a 2025. The GM had told us otherwise on the phone so that was one issue I was extra mad about and feel better knowing it wasn't the a discontinued model and hadn't sat in a warehouse in Orlando for a few years as the GM had indicated. It still had significant damage and they failed to disclose that was the reason for the markdown. We would have never bought it sight unseen if we had known that. Hopefully they fix all the non cosmetic problems and send it back to us without spitting or peeing on it just to get back at us for the complaints and bad reviews. I still feel like we got screwed.
Still seeing if I can be a vendor at one of the antique/flea market places. Also contacted a gallery today to see what the process is for selling there. Also thinking of reopening my Etsy shop but paring it down quite a bit.
Time for a bath and a little relaxing before bed!
