119.6 - up .2, so not significant. My body must have decided to hang here for now.

We did end up going to Key West yesterday as the friend with hip pain decided she felt better moving and her husband brought his walker. We only walked a short way with them though. We dropped them off and came back to hit a few spots for music, then got the car and picked them up. They had never been to any of the hot spots in Key West even though they have been coming to the Keys for several years. They would just go to selected restaurants where they could either park nearby (with the handicapped placard) or be dropped off. I think they enjoyed it but the husband was exhausted. On the way back we stopped at a restaurant we had gone to at the end of last week and I had the same meal of a stone crab claw and triple tail fish with coleslaw. It was just as yummy as last week.

Today we are headed the other direction to Marathon to another tiki bar type place for lunch and music. Our routine has been to have one meal out per day (late lunch or early dinner). They like to eat by 4 or 5, then are in bed by 8 and up at 4 am. Seems like a weird schedule for retired people, but it works for them. We have been okay with the early dinners and just flip our usual afternoon snack to an evening one here. Our usual schedule is more like lunch at noon, snack at 3, and dinner at 6:30. Bed at 10, then up at 6.

Not much else to report. Yesterday was just a 2 deer day after the amazing 5 deer one. I think going out earlier to walk means more deer sightings. Have a winsome Wednesday!

Just googled it and it can work that way sometimes in humans. Who knew?

Interesting that you can somewhat diagnose what is causing Blitz's hunger. I wonder if low albumin levels do that to humans too. Must google that...

Sweet Molly is feeling the hormones and nesting. Very sweet.

Good luck with the haircut. You could just get it trimmed a little and see what you think.

A grilled grouper Reuben is really tasty - DH and I split them all the time. This is the first (and last) one I have had fried.

i hate huge stores too especially if they get crowded. The Walmart near where I used to live in Port Charlotte was a really good one but the one near where we live now is a mess - can't find anything.

Congratulations on the return of your housekeeper. I am sure she is glad to be mobile again too.

Grouper Reuben's are really good if grilled and put together with the right amount of sauerkraut and dressing. We didn't expect the fried version.

You go getting back at the cart dealer. Have you given up on convincing them to do anything?

Great news about your Dad doing so well. Kirby must be in seventh heaven with all his favorite people around.

Funny about Molly being a prima Donna now! She deserves it!

We need the rain here too. Pretty severe drought conditions in FL right now! Temps are back to seasonal norms and feel wonderful!

Let us know how the hair cut goes, or better yet, show us a pic of your new do!

Our Costco here is crazy too! I started doing online delivery orders for the non perishables we get. Delivery is free after a certain amount!

Yay for the return of the housekeeper!

201.7 Up a smidgeon, but s'okay by me. A little workou****er weight is more than welcome. So far not sore. Just a little in my hamstrings, but 80 squats will do that to you...

We actually got a little bit of rain after weeks and weeks of no rain whatsoever. More to come tomorrow. The flood gates are predicted to open next week with a dump of 2" forecast for Monday night to Tuesday morning. Sorry, CC, I don't think this one is headed your way. Would be nice for you though. AZ is having really unseasonable weather. Though, I'm sure the snowbirds are loving it!

Did a client dog and took Buster to the vet this afternoon and got a little grocery shopping done while Buster waited in the car. Currently poaching chicken for Blitz, though I should start thinking about feeding it to him raw. I'm sure he'd like that more than cooked. Poor guy (Blitz) is always hungry now that he has a severe IBD. He's symptom free, but I'm guessing his albumin levels are still too low, which is driving his hunger.

Molly continues her journey as a prima donna mama. It's super cute. She is snuggly and wants to be cozy. She is sleeping in the dog beds and on pillows. Very unlike the tomboy that she is... She's a digger and a floor sleeper. She has completely hijacked the bed Lovey and Dottie use. It belongs to HER! LOL!

Tomorrow is haircut day. I have put off my haircut twice since surgery. I believe I'm finally ready to have someone handle my head and touch my ears. However, I have grown to like the longer hair. Hmmm.... decisions...

Till tomorrow...

Greetings all

More clouds today but no rain. That will hold off for a few more days. Scrabble was fun even though I only won one. I was close to beating the Shark but not quite. Then I stopped in the studio and piddled around and did not get much done. Got hungry and came home for tuna and crackers.

Grouper Reuben!! That sounds gross Liz. Fried anything is appealing but does it have saurkraut and cheese? Icky. Sorry your friends were not up for walking but I get it. You guys are great to do 4 miles on a regular basis. Extra weight is one reason I don't walk more. The saying move it or lose it is so true.

DH went to costco and I convinced him to get some shrimp. Our costco is virtually exploding at all times since there is no Sams or other option and the Walmart here is smaller than most and oddly located. I have not been in Walmart in years. I am grateful that DH is willing to go there as I have developed an aversion to large retail establishments.

Speaking of mobility my scrabble hostess is doing much better. No one ever figured out why she had such pain. She wants to go back to pilates but has to wait for PT first.

CC glad your folks arrived safely and that your dad is feeling chipper. Lazing about looking for balloons sounds like a fine time. Enjoy the visit.

Paula I am amazed that you don't turn the tv on when you are alone. I lived alone until I was 41 and always had the tv or music on. But good on you for not. Bet you get a lot more done.

Our house cleaner will be back tomorrow following an 8 week absence. She will have plenty to do.....
