116.8 - a new low since achieving goal almost a year ago. What's up with that? No rhyme or reason why it dropped that I can figure out. We had great lobster and stuffed quahogs (aka clams) last night. Picture below.
Yesterday i got a lot of miscellaneous packing done and we went to the beach for all of an hour. Way too HOT!
Today I have my Medicare wellness visit with the NP, then we might try a beach on the other side (ocean vs bay) to see if there is more of a breeze. Not for a long time though as we are meeting friends for dinner about an hour or so from here.
Tomorrow Peps is flying home and I leave for Madrid on a 10:30 pm flight. Funny that it is on the same day. I hate flying overnight but there is really no choice when flying to Europe. I just do not sleep well on planes.
No Justice walk for me, though DH will take him. He needs one badly. He was such a nudge last night. Up, down, up, down. And eating grass outside. Something tells me that he got into something he shouldn't have on his ventures yesterday. Have a total Tuesday!

Those meatballs look yummy! Did you make tzatziki sauce too?
Now that Kirby has taken the first step (literally), maybe he will try going fully in (or maybe not)? Justice didn't used to like even getting his feet wet on the beach but now he likes walking at low tide and going through the puddles. No way would he go any deeper though.

I cannot do exploding aliens LOL. Congratulations on getting rid of the gallery deposits. One less thing on your plate.
Yes, SIL did find a dress. From Amazon!

Beautiful day here. And Kirby got his feet in the pool! So brave. Only took 2 years. Ha!
Other than that, lazy day here. I made some good greek turkey meatballs. Very easy. Why don't I make meatballs more often? https://cocinainspiradora.com/savory-greek-turkey-meatballs- a-flavorful-delight/
I reupped my PBS Passport subscription and have been binging Masterpiece shows. Patience, All Creatures Great and Small, Magpie Murders, Marlow Murder Club... Hoping to find some other good ones I missed.
Not much else for now. Take care!
Greetings all
It is foggy today. The sunny weather was too good to last though I don't mind fog. It is cooling. Whatever. The new gallery treasurer called and wants to take over doing the gallery deposits so she can reconcile the cash better. Fine with me but I don't think she realizes how much she is taking on - gotta go pick stuff up all the time and take it to the bank. So I spent the morning making a big package of stuff she will need. After that it was payroll, some studio time and then trip to the gallery to take new stuff there.
Crud Liz. Blisters! No fun. Hope it clears up. Sore feet spoil everything. Did your SIL ever find a dress for this trip?
Boo we hate to see the Peps chronicles coming to an end. What a great trip. Safe travels.
Paula the pool party sounds fun. Kind of a 60's thing but very much a good time. I don't know why people don't do that more often as it is a great family thing. Around here there are few outdoor pools. It is just too cold.
We had the quiche last night. It gets an A for easy. Enough for two more nights.
I am gonna have to take the dogs to the groomers. They are scruffy and sort of stinky. Peps I know you are cringing from he thought of me having these dogs clipped but it just has to be done. Maybe just the older one?
We started a new series called The Waterfront. It is okay but kind of dopey. It was advertised as being like Ozark but it is not that good. But better than exploding aliens.

You are in fantastic shape which will serve you well for an active retirement. No surprise you needed a good nap though with everything you have been doing. Are most of the excursions you have been taking included in your cruise or have you purchased quite a few additional ones?

A breeze makes all the difference doesn't it? We did try to go to the beach today (I wore sneakers until we sat, then had my feet on a towel). We lasted an hour but there was NO breeze and we both had sweat streaming down our faces. Back home and all the air conditioners (no central air here) are running. But now it is 5 and there is a nice breeze and shade on the deck so I am quite comfortable there for a bit.
Great idea to set a target for weekly decluttering. Every time I have moved I wondered why I didn't get rid of stuff over time...

Sort of a busy day... early up and out to visit Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. It was the summer palace for the Hapsburgs from the 1700s -1918. Quite the little summer home. LOL. After a later lunch, I napped. I mean really napped. Like two hours. WOW! Felt great. Not gonna lie.
We have one more day. We are cruising to Budapest. We will do a panoramic tour of Budapest and in the afternoon see the Hungarian Horsemen exposition. Then, we'll pack up and head to the airport the next morning. I will be happy to get home, but a bit sad to leave this life of luxury behind!
I have appreciated my higher level of fitness a lot during this trip. I have noticed how much more spry I am than the average fellow on this cruise - especially on the walking tours. Also, I have noticed how many people use their arms to help them get out of chairs. Grateful for all those squats I do! LOL!
I'll post a few pics on TT. Food was good today!
125 on the dot. Just over a 1 lb. increase. Not sure why. Perhaps I need some good bathroom activity!
Pool date was fun yesterday and didn?t feel too hot at all with the nice breeze we had. Food and conversation was good and we had fun playing games!
Today is still hot. I was going to take a DH walk but we slept in and it was already too hot to go. I did the treadmill instead and lifted weights. Not much else on the docket for today except to get rid of one bag ?of junk? in our downsizing efforts. We agreed to try and fill one bag each every week! I?m also checking out things to sell on Facebook market place.
Dinner will indeed be Jimmy John?s. DH suggested it for lunch and I said let?s get it for dinner!
Hope DH had fun golfing today Liz. That blister condition on your feet sounds awful! Hope they heal up fast for you!
