It is overcast here today but calm and dry. Nice and cool. The house is being cleaned and I am sitting here like a slop in a bathrobe. Soon this will be your life DD!
Gallery duty this afternoon and I need to stop at the bank for small bills. Sales have been good this month - almost making up for lousy early months.
Liz I think it is wise of your DH to just hire the yard clean up done. He does not like it and the kids are just not going to step up so for family peace just pay someone. Seems dumb that the kids won't help but if they won't, they won't. Glad you had a nice day of visiting and fun. Bet your climate is kind of like that here - cool ocean.
We watched a series Grosse Pointe Garden Society. Another comedy drama about rich people getting in trouble. Also started Government Cheese - another absurd drama.
CC hoping Kirby is coming around and can lose the cone soon. I heard something on NPR the other day about ultra violet coating that is on most glass that can somehow be activated with light to deter bird strikes. Didn't understand it but you might look it up.
Yay Peps on the final class being a fun one. Enjoy it.
Well the sweet peas are still alive and maybe even growing. Slugs have not found them yet.
Well almost time to pack up and get to work. Don't want to get fired from my unpaid job.

Too late. I looked freckled with spots of spray tan! I'm mostly wearing long pants and shirts so it's okay!

Yesterday was a good day for DH playing golf with his longterm friend and me visiting with SIL. The weather was sunny and in the mid-70's. A refreshing change from humid Florida and 90 degrees. DH announced on the drive that he had come to a decision that there would be no more spring cleanup in April - the he is going to hire someone to cleanup the yard in the spring and to mow the lawn until we get here in late spring. He says everyone seems to be too busy and he doesn't like the yard looking like no one lives here. I thought one of his kids might protest and offer to do more but apparently that didn't happen. I think they are used to Dad taking care of things for them.
Today's weather should be similar though with a few more clouds. DH is going to do more yard work. I probably will start repacking for Aruba since we leave to stay near the airport on Friday. I possibly am going to the local senior center for yoga this morning but I need to get my act in gear and go find my yoga stuff in the basement. Not sure I can get motivated quickly enough (or that I want to). It would be easier if it wasn't so gorgeous outside because I hate to miss the morning walk with Justice.

Such a sweet way to have a last class. Not surprising that you are having anxiety. It is a huge change and perhaps your gut is already missing the best part - the kids.

I hope the cone comes off soon? I don't remember Justice having one and he was neutered just before I began fostering him.

I guess I am not the only one having that kind of experience on social media. I thought the reason for those kind of groups was to share information but apparently not everyone agrees.
Son-in-law can be charming but is incredibly lazy though not in his own mind. Everyone puts up with it because his wife does. I sometimes wonder what their relationship is like when they are alone and she is doing all the work, but they seem happy.

I don't know much about spray tans - maybe if you moisturize like crazy starting now it will even out?

Glad to hear you could get the paint fixed so fast.
Good luck with the knees. I have moderate to severe arthritis in both of mine but am hoping to avoid having to have a replacement. One joint felt like enough. In Florida some doctors are doing things like injecting gel into the knee.
