One more day in Arizona!
Yesterday we skipped hiking as our knees needed a rest. We went to Jerome, an old mining town, and walked around. Pretty views and a lot of gift shops but not much else. So we stopped at a vineyard in Cornville on the way back and did some wine tasting and shared a charcuterie board for lunch. Very enjoyable.
We leave Sedona this morning, probably stopping for a short hike along the way to Phoenix. Our flight is at 8:15 am tomorrow so we are dropping off the car today and staying overnight at the airport. I was up at 4:30 Arizona time in preparation for going to Florida time. We never fully adjusted for the time difference anyway so hopefully it won't be too bad going back. I checked the calendar and there are no early activities on the calendar from Friday through Sunday so I should be okay.
I am looking forward to seeing Justice. I just ordered him a cool pet carrier we saw someone wearing when we flew here. It is a backpack and expands when it is off to give them more room. His current one has to be carried on my shoulder and is fairly small - he does well in it but I thought this one might be an improvement.
Have a watchful Wednesday!

I take that amount 2 times a week. You really don't need much to maintain - Lucky you!

Liz, those hiking pictures were stunning. Definitely makes me want to put Sedona on the must travel to list!
121.5 day. Up, down, up down but all in a good range! I can tell the 1 mg dose of Tirzepitide is working. Less food noise, more meh responses to food, smaller portions (but they are never very big anyway).
I think every hanging thing on our walls is now off and either packed or donated. DH is already missing the big clock in the living room even though his phone is right beside him and can tell him the time!
I got done of my Bible studying done but will have more to do tomorrow.
Hello Fresh shrimp Bahn Mi tacos for dinner. I don't think I will get those again.
70's would be heavenly! At least the Fall colors are beautiful here! We had a rainy day today but I guess it is better than snow. DH saw reports that it may be coming to northern WI soon!
Good for you for getting things checked off your list! Always a good feeling!
Interesting that you are noticing a difference with Bug gone. I like your classroom analogy!
Sorry to hear about your Dad's decline. It is hard to watch. While my Dad didn't pee just anywhere, he did refuse showers. It was frustrating. He like to flirt with the staff which was so not him before dementia.
Beautiful weather for you! I am really enjoying the Arizona weather though 50 degrees in the morning is a *****illy for me.

Good thing you were "saved" by the roofers. Should be really cool to see paintings depicting your neighborhood views tomorrow night though!

I'm sorry but I had to chuckle at your Dad whipping it out and peeing. Not really unusual in Memory Care so you are right - they just need to deal with it. A woman I knew was so embarrassed when she heard that her Dad kept walking around naked. But the worst was that not only did he ask the women there for sex but he asked his daughter as well. After she processed that for a few days it became a funny story. Sometimes you just have to chuckle.
Interesting point about Buzz. My DS was an active kid so if there was a disruptive kid in his room he entered into the fray whole hog. He had one year when I had once a week updates from the principal of his school. They had chosen to put all the difficult (and active) kids in the same classroom with a teacher known for keeping control. But her mother was dying that year and she was just overwhelmed. A really difficult year for all (including the teacher). The following years in calm classrooms DS was quite well behaved.
