Such a great evening!!! I may go look for air balloons in a couple of minutes (though I might be too late this morning).

Grizz is such a good looking pup! He also looked very happy in that video.

Your weather is similar to Arizona right now. A bit cool for me in the morning and evening but that mid-day dry air is wonderful!

123 on the dot today!

Continue to be busy packing and taking things off walls. Almost all are bare now. Two of the bedrooms are pretty much empty too and today we sold our bedroom furniture. Good thing we have a big master closets with shelves. We are only leaving out a handful of clothes to wear for our remaining 3 weeks. The rest is already packed away in boxes!

Need to change my insurance to a nationwide plan. It will be more expensive but I'm still using banked sick time money from DH1 to pay the premiums.

Tomorrow more of the same! Need to catch up on my bible study reading too. Have not been doing that much (or attending church) but I am researching churches in FL we might attend.

DD must be on her way to TX?

Glad you got to enjoy a sunny day. Fall is in full force in WI. The changing colors of the trees is beautiful but the crisp air whispers what's to come all too soon. Hopefully we will be FL residents before the first snowfall but snow in October does happen!

Enjoy the last of the shrimp. That is what is on our menu tomorrow!

Mostly my thing. He does a few a year depending on the timing. But honestly, it's mostly my thing. He has church and his music program which keeps him busy. I am not a church goer (I have gone occasionally, but it's really not my thing...). We both have our separate interests. It works for us.

Have fun at the festival with Liz and Mike. I would love to get to Sedona one of these days (or years!)

Congratulations on Grizz's fruitful weekend! How cool that he is excelling at such a young age! Does DH ever do the dog show thing with you or is it just your personal interest?

Greetings all

Nice and sunny here. I wish all winter could be like this but it will not be so. Skipped the gym and went to the studio to pick up new stuff and do glazing. The usual suspects were lurking about. After that I drove up to Trinidad and the gallery to take new stuff. The ocean was crisp and sparkly and awesome. That little tourist town is kind of emptying out and the locals emerging.

Liz that looks like a great inn. Sorry you have the bone issue. Guess they will give you those meds. But hiking is the right thing to do- they say weight bearing exercise is the ticket. Have fun with CC.

Yeah Peps that tape of Grizz looked great. Nice bunch of dogs so nice win. Aren't dog shows funny how people chose to show or pull their dogs. A luxury for you to only have one dog to show. Enjoy your goof off day. And take pleasure in knowing there will be more.

CC hope the tile repairs go well. Yeah sometimes it seems impossible to get repairs done so take it when you can. We need to have the new garage door painted but it is such a small job it will be hard to get someone. But I do not dare let DH have a paintbrush!!

More shrimp. Tomorrow I will have to think of something else. But as Scarlet said "After all, tomorrow is another day!"

I was up early this morning. I think I've forgotten how to sleep in... But I got the garbage cans to the street and had my coffee outside to watch the sun peek over the mountains with the balloons going up. The total was 8 today: 4 by me, 4 to the south. Liz said it was 49. It didn't feel that cold to me!

At 10:30, some work guys showed up sent by the pool people to replace the tile that's falling off my spa wall. While I didn't know they were coming, beggars can't be choosers especially since I've been asking for them to replace the tile since I moved in! Remember that movie The Money Pit where they are so happy ANYONE showed up to work they get out of the way and ask no questions? Same here. It doesn't matter how much it'll cost or who they are, just be grateful someone showed up to do something.

It's an odd situation here for pools. Too warm to need to drain the pool for winter, but it gets cold enough for water to seep around tile, freeze and expand, popping them off. One tile goes and the rest follow. In CA, this doesn't happen, but apparently is a common issue here. The hard water somehow doesn't help.

Anyway, I have a few things I can get done from my list, then the event for the plein air festival I'm meeting Liz and Mike at starts at 4.

Hope you all have a nice day!

Liz, CC, - Hope you have a fun meet up today!!!

Photos of the wedding and your BnB - wonderful!!!! Looks like the weather was perfect for the wedding.

Both Grizz and Buster had a pretty good weekend. I left Buster home yesterday. The Owner Handled group judge didn't use Buster in that group on Saturday. Since the same judge was judging Airedales and the terrier group on Sunday, I decided to give Buster the day off. All the other Airedales were absent yesterday, too. Hmmmm.... However, same judge did right by Grizz, so... who knows what judges think sometimes.

Weight has stabilized right around 205. So, looks like it's time to get serious again. The tirzepatide and VSG do a lot, but not everything. Time for a little more concerted effort on my part.

I am luxuriating in a free day today. All I need to do is go visit my dad and get a workout in. The rest of the day is for me to do as I please - which may involve a lot of doing nothing! LOL!

Beautiful autumn weather here in the greater Bay Area. Sunny, cool morning in the low 50s, but getting up to about 80 in the afternoon. I can still wear shorts, but add a sweat shirt/hoodie thing in the evening and be comfortable.

I am setting the bar low today.... Let's all have a manageable Monday! LOL
