Still checking in here on OH. Seems to be working for the moment. Studio buddy is here ranting about her computer. I left for awhile for the gym. DH is extremely patient.
Peps sorry to hear the story of your dad but good that it worked out. Grateful that he is not fearful. I need to get a POA to my brother. When I used to do POAs at my job some people wanted them only to apply if they had been determined to be incompetent but that is another whole can or worms. Not a good idea. Joint POA is a good idea.
CC you are a better person than me though next time I go to Target I may go to customer service and pay. Once before at a grocery I almost walked out with a steak after paying for everything else but turned around and went back and paid for it. This time I was a ways out in the parking lot, dead tired, jockeying the world's most f-ed up shopping cart, and out of patience. So I rationalized not going back. Oh well. I will make up for it somehow in universal karma. i agree to following most rules except speed limits are just suggestions.....
Peps I don't know what Pro Board is but worth a look. I will miss the OH format as I am used to it. I need to learn more about slack.

It is a beautiful sunny day here and flowers are everywhere. I know the winter rain is not done but this day is sure great.

Hoping that this reply goes through. I am going to post on Slack this morning, not because I necessarily think it is the easiest to use but I am too frustrated to deal with OH.
It is a good thing that your Dad isn't frustrated by not remembering. Yet another stage but is easier for them I think. Someone wanted to okay for a POA? Bank of America made us jump through hoops when we had to change from the primary POA (deceased DH who was too far in dementia) to secondary POA (my BIL) for my MIL. Ridiculous that they don't have a concept that a legal POA is valid when the person is INCAPACITATED. Why did she think your Dad didn't know his name???

Congrats on beating the Shark for your 10% of the time! I don't think I would have gone back with the milk either but I might (if I remembered) mention it the next time and maybe have them charge me twice for one?
Yes, way too much company. We tell people to visit whenever and they do! Of course having 6 children between the 2 of us and having also combined friends makes the audience larger.

Your sweet dad. I'm so glad that didn't upset him and that he was able to come up with it himself!
I will post anywhere that works best for everyone. Slack seems to have the highest learning curve for me, but that's just because I've never used it. I can learn...OH is the easiest for me. I don't love FB, but will use it if that's the vote.
