I'm glad you had a nice visit and it sounds like the weather was perfect for it!

Keep your feet up whenever you aren't touring!!! Sounds like you have a lot of choices. We used to find that doing an external drive by eliminated some houses because we didn't like the neighborhood vibe. Maybe DH can do a once through and tell you if it is worth it for you to walk through?

Anoher glorious day in the Finger Lakes Region! Today we did 3 wineries on Lake Seneca. We ran out of time, because the 3 we did visit were beautiful and we lingered over our wine and cheese. Warm sun, refreshing breeze, diamond glints sparkling on the water. We've had such a lovely time. This is the first time we traveled with these friends, outside of camping weekends when we were younger (Much younger!) and it all went so fine. It doesn't always go that way, even if you get along very well at home.

Tomorrow we go to Amherst MA for 2 days to visit my Aunt and Uncle.

Happy Birthday Diane!

123.8

Did too much and legs are a swelling! Worries me that actual house hunting will be too much! Three more houses added on the visit list for a total of 8. More might be added if something new comes up before we get there on Sunday. We will house hunt Monday-Wednesday!

Good to have friends to hang out with Liz. At least you have Justice for company! Enjoy the new furniture!

Peps, you are a good son taking care of your Dad's needs. I feel a bit guilty that my brother is tasked with a lot of that for my Mom and it will be even more so when we move to FL.

Happy Birthday Diane S! Hope you throughly enjoyed your day!

Hoping Blitz is okay. Always worrisome when something is off for an extended period.

Skinny Pasta: 9 calories per serving for the fettuccine. Most supermarkets carry it in the pasta section: Skinny Pasta

Greetings all

The sun is out big today. It is even warm. Today I will celebrate by doing exactly what I want all day long. Actually that is what I do most every day but today I won't feel guilty about it. Not much different than any other day. I will likely go to the gym and studio. We will have dinner at our favorite ocean view restaurant and it should not be foggy tonight. There is a gallery membership meeting but I am going to skip it. Nothing urgent and I just don't want to go.

Yeah the blimp is noisy if it is flying low. It was high enough yesterday I did not hear it. I think it has a rear propeller. Once it was flying low over the freeway here and it was loud.

So the house is being cleaned and the dogs are happy to have their favorite visitor.

Hey Liz post a picture of the dress. Sounds like a fun event. And what is the skinny pasta?

Peps I hope Blitz is not sick. Sometimes that stuff just goes on but needs to be checked out. You sure do a lot for a retired person! The biggest joy is to be able to fiddle around and not feel like every second must be productive.

Keep healing Paula. Please take it easy. Good luck on house search.

CC hope to hear from you when you can. Guests sure take up a lot of energy.

We watched the series Ballard. Pretty good. I think there will be season two.

Diane S

Good Tuesday morning, and..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DIANE S!!!!!!!

Quick post as I have to get Blitz to the vet. He's had diarrhea for two weeks. He's fine in all other aspects, but that long term diarrha is worrisome.

203.9 - up a full pound. I expected to be down today. Go figure. I shall blame my good workout, because it wasn't food intake!

Got a lot of "Dad" stuff done yesterday, plus many of my other chores. Still have a few things to cross off the list today, but the majority of what I needed to get done yesterday got done!

Read a little something about habits being the root of change. That sat well with me. Makes a lot of sense. Here's to creating "habits of change"!

Adios!

Happy Birthday Diane! Enjoy your day!

117.8 - productive bathroom time yesterday. Justice was also back down a bit after the same LOL.

i really liked my new PCP! At my office up north my PCP was okay but I liked the NP better. The new one here reminds me a bit of the NP. Young, knowledgeable, and personable. I think I am going to like having a woman physician. My referrals are in place for mammogram, bone density, and seeing an ENT. And I have a dermatology recommendation.

Today, the furniture update begins. The Habitat Restore is picking up the old sleep sofa. I need to move the other furniture off the very large, very heavy carpet so I can shift the rug over about a foot to one side to better match the flow around the new furniture setup. The new couches arrive tomorrow. For future, I need to work on updating the pillows as I have been using ones from my former Florida place and DH's. Sort of a mishmash of colors. This stuff keeps me busy.

Tonight there is a final summer Ladies night at the Beach Club. Clothing in citrus themes - I got a sundress from Amazon with lemons on it. It is actually kind of cute and made fairly well so it will be a good beach cover-up afterwards. I am going with a friend and her husband is driving us. It will be good to get out as I have been alone here since arriving on Saturday. I like alone time but am missing DH. Previously when we have been apart there was more going on and knowing that it is another week before he gets here makes it feel like a very long time. He is driving to NY to watch the grandchildren for most of the next week so he will be busy.

So I mentioned that I had that Skinny Pasta the other night and liked it? I think that was actually the weight gain because I ate a lot of it and I think the fiber made it take a long time to digest. I read that it can be an issue for some people. Note to self: Don't eat more than the recommended serving size even if the calories are low.

Have a tippy Tuesday!

Blimps are noisy? I guess I have never seen one very close. I assumed there were fairly silent,
