I will have to look for Professor T. Sounds interesting. I look forward to a day/night with nothing planned. Maybe Friday.

Liz, did you stay at the Hilton at the airport. We stayed there and thought it was really slick, how easy it is to walk from the airport. Although there was an actual fire in the kitchen (this has happened to us twice at hotels!), so we had to wait for breakfast!

So much for the 78 forecast. We saw 61! Not often they are 17 degrees off.
It rained here all Sunday, but definitely not cool. Warm and humid, so we still had to run the air conditioner.
Silly rodent, coming into your yard with the dogs. There can be no good outcome for the rodent.
Glad you have a little down time tonight. Sometimes you need a breather.
Yesterday didn't quite start the way we anticipated. We waited in the cell phone lot for my Aussie sister for an hour. We knew her plane landed, but phone calls and texts weren't answered. Finally we decided we misunderstood, and went home. About 30 minutes later, a text with new flight info. Sis missed a connection and sent us text to update, but then put her phone on airplane mode before it was sent. All's well, we picked her up and had a nice lunch on one of our favorite patios.
Today she left to visit my parents, and I had a physical. I liked the new doctor and hope she stays with my clinic.
Tomorrow no plans except finally start packing. Wednesday visit my parents. Thursday's plans are to attend the Minnesota State Fair and then Sunday, dinner with Peps. One week from Thursday, I leave on my big trip. Lots to do in retirement :)
122.6. The gain is holding so far!
Plastic Surgery pre-op appointment went well and I did get to see the surgeon along with the PA. Thighs will have an incisions down to the knee (maybe just past the knee). Mons area will be addressed with the tummy tuck. He surprised me and said he was going to try and do a drainless surgery. Less pain but chance of too much fluid pooling. Hope it is the right decision.
More cleaning/organizing today. Tomorrow will include at least one truckload to the dump and then cleaning of the floors, one last dusting, and clearing of surfaces before the showing on Wednesday's. **** is getting real!
Tonight we are going to relax and watch a show or movie on tv. It?s been rush, rush, rush for days. More Hello Fresh delivered today. Will report on how they are as we use them. So far I?ve been pleased with the lesser calorie options we have tried! One if the meals is pretty much the Big Mac salad I have been making for myself when we have burgers.
Glad you got back North safely Liz. You really are a jet setter! DD will be too very soon!
CC and Diane, fresh corn on the cob! Sounds delish! I?m going to have to find a stand this weekend. I like to buy extra and freeze but with a potential move, we need to use what is in the freezer instead of stocking it!
Weather was cooler here today as well, I wore long pants and a jacket! Unlike CC and Diane, I?m not ready for cool days during the summer yet. It took so long for summer to even start here that I would be happy to have hot days until the end of October (won?t happen, but I can dream).
Greetings all
Big sunny day here. I have been out and about getting payroll, picking up new art, doing banking and taking stuff to the gallery. After that it was post office and a quick grocery stop. It amazes me how often I stop at the store but have nothing proper to eat. I got some deli chicken and sweet corn for dinner. CC you must have telepathed me the urge for sweet corn.
Jeepers Liz only a few hours with Justice and then you are off? You guys are jet setters.
For some unknown reason I feel especially tired and achey today. No clue why. Contemplating taking advil.
Yeah CC it only rains on delivery days. At least you have the new stuff. I too like a chilly summer day. Enjoy the home cooking. I so remember my days as a child and we would drive along by the fields out of town looking for a roadside farm stand. Nice.
EEeeww DH found some sort of dead rodent in the back yard that the dogs had likely tortured. The corpse was tossed over the fence into the greenbelt without ceremony.
Not much else. Slowly working through the trip list.

Rainy day here. There are a ton of little farms that sell produce here, so we headed to Lutz's Farm for corn today. They are mostly self-serve with an honesty box to collect money. After that a stop at the small local market for hamburger. Our new outdoor furniture for the front patio that faces the channel came after that (but first we had to move all the old stuff to the garage. A friend is going to take it). I said to the poor guy delivering it in the rain that of course the day he delivers is one of the only daytime rains in the last two months...
Speaking of which, I am wearing a sweatshirt today. Woo hoo! Love a cool rainy day. The high was supposed to be 78, but i don't think we'll get out of the 60s today.
Watching a good show on Amazon Prime that I somehow missed on PBS called Professor T. It's about a Cambridge criminology professor who helps solve crimes. I do love a British crime drama!
I'm happy to be eating in tonight. We've had 4 prior days of dinner engagements.
Anyway, that's all here. Take care all!
