121.1 Need more ice cream! Lol! If this keeps up I will skip my shot altogether this week.

Harvested garden produce for 2 hours this morning and will be back again tomorrow morning. Lots of great veggies to donate to the food pantry!

Air quality still sucks here. I did treadmill intervals at 3.8 mph with 6-8% hills for 40 minutes and then did arm resistance training.

Rest of the day will be spent relaxing (for me). DH is going to help a friend lay patio pavers (yuck). Back breaking work for an old guy!

I guess I do need to gather some things for my art show this weekend. Probably will be my last full show!

Liz, the scallops sound wonderful. One of my very favorite foods! A beach day sounds grand as well. There are a few houses I really like for sale right now in the Fort Myers area. I told DH if they are still on the market in October we should fly down there and take a look at them. A late Fall/early winter closing would make us have to hustle on our end but not spending another winter in WI sounds awesome!

DD, the light is at the end of the tunnel! It's probably just hard to see right now. Soon you will have your house back to yourselves! You really are such a good friend!

CC, sorry your weather has been kind of crappy with the smoke too. Hope you find something fun and easy to make for dinner. We are having leftover Mexican shrimp ****tail!

Yes, safe travels Peps! That's a lot of driving!

LOL, pretty sure it wasn't DH, he laid the floors himself so he takes good care of them.

Thank goodness their move is coming soon. I think the 3 kids chattering would exhaust me!

The color of the sky is not good here today either.

BTW did the architect come the other day and if so did they make any suggestions yet?

Argh, I was just in the kitchen, and there is standing water on the wood floors again! I put a rug in front of the water/ice dispenser on the fridge door, guess I need one in front of the sink too. My patience is wearing thin...

I love having scallops in Massachusetts. There's kind of a divey type restaurant in Gloucester that has such good scallops. I'll have to stop there in September!

I'm trying to get ready for a gathering at my house today of some former co-workers. There will be about 8 or 9. Nephews 3 children spent the night, and are currently being supervised by their Grandma, my BFF. I cleaned bathrooms at 10pm last night after they went to bed, because I didn't want any "help". They have been talking to me nonstop this morning since they got up. Right now, I'm hiding in my bedroom, taking a break. I did that last night too. They were fighting like kids do, and I just didn't want to sit at dinner and listen to it. DH was out with a friend, so I feigned a headache and went to my room. They will leave for theater camp in another 2 hours. And then the closing on their new home, a condo, is this afternoon. Hopefully they'll move in this weekend.

Well, back to preparing for guests, as well as I can with 3 people inquiring about everything I'm doing. It's how they learn, right? Whew.

I felt yucky after spending the afternoon walking around an art fair on Saturday. Definitely, the smoke can do that! It is clearer here today, so maybe a nice west to east wind will blow some of it out of Michigan. We've had the trifecta this summer: higher than normal smoke, rain and heat. Although today is gorgeous, and you can see the blue sky!

I think the smoke has been making me sick the last few days. Clogged sinuses led to a clogged ear/bad ringing led to bad balance/dizziness led to nausea. Blech. Feeling better today. According to the forecast the last few days were supposed to be perfectly sunny and beautiful. Instead it looked completely cloudy and brown. Even now the sky is brown-tinged. Yesterday you couldn't differentiate between the water and the sky on the horizon. Lots of people complaining of sore throats, runny eyes, and coughing. Lots of people complaining period!

Today I need to clean up Kirby's stuffy toy destruction mess from yesterday and attempt again to get those plants out of the bed. And do some tidying. My new motorized screen is going in AZ, so I'll probably watch some of that on the camera. I also need to think of something to make for dinner. Something summery. Hmmm.

Liz, those fish are cool! Safe travels, Peps! DD, love the door story. Sounds meant to be!
