Ooh, I am sore today! I ordered Flor rugs for the last two rooms (mine and the smaller guest room) and they came yesterday. I tackled the guest one. I managed to get it together and in place without dismantling the bed frame. Not sure what would have been worse, but the bed assembly looked complicated. So now I hurt EVERYWHERE from the lifting, bending, pushing, shoving etc. I also could be sore from changing the water filters day before yesterday as I couldn't get them off, so that was an hour of trying to twist/push/pry/unscrew with one of those rings with a handle. My room's rug will have to wait until I hurt less!
Neighbor cancelled lunch, so I'm off the hook there until next week. That was fine, I had a headache yesterday so hashing out hurt feelings sounded awful.
Beautiful day today with giant puffy clouds. I think the possibility for some thunderstorms later.
I think that's all I have for now. Take care everyone!
Cilantro lime rice sounds yummy! I think we are going to that Mexican restaurant tonight since you inspired me.
The cost of homes in Florida usually does go down after the snowbirds leave as there are just so many fewer people. But the market in our area has changed a lot over the last 2+ years from being a sellers market to a buyers market. Lots more homes competing against each other. People who bought within the last 2-3 years and reselling are taking a loss. I know 2 couples in that situation and they may have to take a significant loss (about 10%) if they sell it now so they are thinking about renting their homes for a while (both already bought another home).

124.1 - my lowest this time around. Not sure if I will make any med changes, maybe just try to eat a little more.
I thought I would be too busy getting ready for the party to exercise today but there isn't much more to do and it is only 10:30 am and the party starts at 6. Looks like the treadmill and I have a date!
Spent the morning making pico and chopping up other Mexican toppings. Still need to make the guac and cilantro lime rice but that will be done closer to the start time of the party. Still need to dust and DH needs to vacuum when he wakes up (worked last night). Bathrooms were cleaned yesterday!
I'm still looking at Florida properties. Much more to choose from these days and the prices continue to come down. I think we will try and pare down what we have in the house this summer. I know whatever we get will be smaller and have way less storage. So odd not to have basements in Fl. I get why they don't but that seriously decreases storage space!
118.2 - official weight of the week.
The end of another work week for Peps and DD. One week closer to retirement!
DSD got home smoothly yesterday thank goodness. She had to work before she left, DH had golf, and I had to go to the dentist with the car so she took an Uber. Thank goodness the airport is so close.
I never made it to my golf association ****tail party last night. The anesthetic for my crown prep lasted from 2:30-7:30 and my mouth drooped until it wore off. I couldn't smile or even drink anything without a straw or a napkin under my mouth. I don't remember it ever lasting so long - he must have used a lot!
Today we have someone coming to clean the carpet in our bedroom and walk-in closet (the only rooms where we have wall-to-wall carpet). I have yoga, then I think we will probably go to the beach club for the afternoon. Looks like the weather will hold in this gorgeous spring pattern through tomorrow but then we start to get more humid with a threat of showers daily next week. That usually starts during April in south Florida so we were really lucky this year.
Have a fulfilling Friday!
PS: Just saw a news story that Eli Lilly sued HenryMeds and 3 other telehealth GLP-1 providers on 4/23. That's why HenryMeds stopped dispensing tirzepatide.

I loved all those musicals too, but not only was the music and story good but the singer's voices were probably the best we have heard in this theatre venue.
I used to feel like fire drills were specifically planned for nice weather days which may or may not be true.

Yes, pamper yourself - you deserve it!

We did May baskets when I was a child. We used to dance around the Maypole too. None of that seems to be around anymore. Sigh...

Napping is a good idea while still on drugs. I went on a bit of a shopping spree on-line while still high from round one of my plastic surgery. I told DH to take my credit cards away this time around!
We did May baskets too! I remember the neighbor thinking I was doing ding dong ditch it when I was actually leaving a May basket. Got yelled at for the wrong thing!
