There are definite seasons here, and in the winter it can drop close to freezing, but generally stays in the 50s during the coldest part of winter. It can snow in the mountain towns, but very infrequently.

Water aerobics this morning, some time in the sun while listening to my you tube videos for my call in woman?s Bible study on Thursday. Working on cards for my vendor booth (pretty sure I?m going to give it a try), meet again with the manager tomorrow. I?ll probably get a bigger space for $150/month so I don?t have to solve the problem of only being able to come out 18 inches from the wall. I will still try to get only a 6 month commitment.
55 plus Bible study was a bust last night. Guy teaching it was a whack a mole with some pretty unconventional theological views and wanted everyone there to drink the koolaid too. No thank you!

Oh wow, snow in CA. At the same time DC1 is reporting temps in the 50's in WI. Crazy weather everywhere!

Brazil certainly sounds like your happy place! Kinda of like Maui for DH1 and I! I sincerely hope you can find a way to make it a regular destination!

More rain here though I got out and about while it was dry. Snow is predicted inland and it could snow here though I doubt it. We get snow on the coast about once every 10 years. I know how to drive in it but no one else around here does. So it likely won't cause me to miss scrabble tomorrow unless there is a freeway mess.
So Peps you are a year older but I bet you are feeling years younger. Isn't it grand to just piddle all day. I would say your plastics were 100% successful.
CC enjoy the day trip. Always good to cruise around with a fun person. Is Phoenix about 2 hours away? Hope shopping is included.
DD does your part of Brazil get a serious winter or does it stay pretty mild? Must not be too bad if there are palms. Yep lush greenery is calming and peaceful. Enjoy the pizza.
Well Liz I hope you get the sin up done for the dance. Yes paint colors can be deceiving and choices made in the room. Amazing how many shades of beige there are. I had planned on a taupe shade for our bathroom to go with the new fixtures but none looked good and I ended up with Indian White.
So I have talked here about Runzas - the ground beef and cabbage baked into a bun sandwich from Nebraska. Tonight I am going to try making them only without the bread - just the filling. We shall see. No doubt the house will stink after I cook cabbage (got cole slaw mix).

Liz, hope your fridge is now installed! Welcome home to Paula's DH and jumping into all the things. Nice CC to head out for the day, knowing your boy is happy with his company. You're going to have an awesome trip around the sun this year Peps. You've put so many things in motion these last months that will serve you well. Diane I get the sleeping in later than normal. It was raining here, and I stayed in bed for an extra two hours finishing a book. What luxury!
The rain did stop, so DH and I went to the pool, and in about an hour, we're joining the usual suspects for whatever we are doing tonight. Tomorrow night we are going to entertain in "our house". I will probably get some take out pizzas from one of the bistros in the area here, and desserts, along with some cut up fruit.
We leave in one week. It will be hard to go, but that's the best way, right? Leave while you're still having fun.
I noticed today how much pleasure I derive from the greenery here. There's a lot of nice landscaping, and I'm just a big big fan of palm trees. So many pleasant vistas for the eyes. Even the landscaping in front of the Pharmacy where we get our Coke Zero is so pretty.
Well, better get ready to head out and see where the night ends up taking us.

I tried to post yesterday, but OH was non responsive. I could read, but each time I tried to post the site timed out and I got one of those "Oops! Something went wrong!" Gateway error messages.
I had a pretty swell b'day. I did nothing! I puttered around in the morning, then took a luxurious shower, made a couple eggs for breakfast and waited for Ron to return from his church gigs. He didn't get home until around 2:30. Then I trimmed on Grizz. Put on some fancy clothes and we went to a really nice steak house for dinner with Aunty Kathryn and my BFF. Photo on TT.
Any teeny tiny reservations I may have been subconsciously harboring about the cosmetic surgery completely dissipated yesterday. I feel great and believe my face really reflects how good I feel inside. That's a really nice feeling!
It is cool, gray, and wet today! We are expecting a couple of days of rain with some snow expected at the higher elevations nearby. The mountain in your backyard should be very pretty covered in snow by Wednesday! I do enjoy a little snow. It is so rare here, it's a novelty and never lasts for more than a few hours to a day at most.
Picking up the RV tomorrow. I will drop the price and sell it on my own - hopefully soon. Fingers crossed!

Paint colors are so interesting. They never look the same in two different settings.
I forgot to weigh myself this morning and jumped right into coffee. Oops.
I'm up early as I'm going on a day trip to a town outside Phoenix with my friend. She's fun, so it should be a good day. My dad's wife is dog sitting (my dad is not the responsible party here). Kirby spends all day glued to her side anyway, so it should be similar to any other day!
It's supposed to be really windy here today, so I moved all the stuff that could blow around the yard into safer spaces.
Other than a walk, nothing got accomplished yesterday, which is fine. With holiday crowds, it's better to stay inside the neighborhood anyway.
