116.6 - up another .2. DH did not hit his goal and was up a pound which as we all know doesn't mean much. But he is getting very snacky. I think maintaining is going to be extremely difficult for him.
The changeover went well yesterday. Bathroom and kitchen cleaned up, dusting done, floors vacuumed, and sheets and towels were washed. DSD worked here until 4:30 then left for her friend's home and the 2 sisters arrived at about 5:30.
Today we plan to bring sandwiches to the National Seashore for mid-day, then we have reservations for dinner at that restaurant I mentioned the other day. It was super hot yesterday but today the temperature will be at least 10 degrees cooler, less humid and windy. I plan to pack a sweatshirt for the beach.
Have a surprising Saturday!

Good for Tesla - great that her appetite is back!
That pie place sounds terrific. In my old town on Cape Cod, we had a phenomenal pie shop. You couldn't eat there but you could pick up pies already cooked, ready to cook or frozen. I heard that they want to expand to have a small restaurant side as well so I guess it would be like the place you went to with your friend.

I had good intentions about going to yoga here but since I got back from Europe I have found a lot of excuses not to go like company, dog walk time, and just forgetting when it is. LOL
How do you handle pick-ups and payments on FB Marketplace? Do you have many fall through? I tried to sell a desk via an old online listing forum years ago and had several fall through so when it came time to get rid of stuff later I just offered it for free.
Adult children's stuff in storage at your house - I had that until I sold the house in September. They either had to take it or it was getting chucked. They even had overflow stuff at my SILs but I made them take that too when they got it from my house.

Back down under 200! If not now, soon it will stay that way. I do think that at 199 you are more muscular and fit than my DH is at 181.
Yes, Xfinity is a royal pain as is Verizon IMO. I'm glad the list has helped and your Dad's move is in good shape.

Maintaining was always impossible for me too. I would get down, then the cravings would take over and I'd go right back up immediately. After VSG, I stayed down for a couple of years but then snacking started my weight creeping up again albeit way more slowly. The meds in low dose keep those cravings away so that I can have just my planned snack and don't want anymore. Must be fulfilling a need in my body.
Cardinals are so beautiful aren't they? So nice when they visit. But the darn squirrels are so enterprising at getting into the bird feeders! I had what was supposed to be a squirrel-proof one at one time and it mostly was but I saw some amazing squirrel gymnastics when they tried to get at it.

Greetings all
Another cool and pleasant day. DH had his lunch with the Romeos and I did lunch elsewhere with a friend. It was at a pie restaurant and they have savory pot pies and hand pies as well as dessert pies. I thought it was quite good. My friend ordered me a piece of dessert pie and I actually was done after about 2/3 of it. Pre sleeve me would have never left that food on a plate.
So then I went to the studio where the drama continues. I got a somewhat negative message from someone I thought of as a good friend. It was surprising but I am choosing to not take offense as I think it was random emoting. There will be a meeting with the glass members next week to explain more about how their space is going to be changed. Effectively the studio is taking away space that they just hardly ever use and repurposing it so more people can be served.
So Peps Party Like it's 1999! Love it. Good on you. Don't forget you are going to be retired for a long long time so you don't have to do everything at once.
Dang squirrels DD!. Supposedly there are squirrel proof bird feeders though it seems they find a way. But good on you for enjoying the back yard. We used to have a finch feeder and that was nice as just the finches came to it. I think it blew down in some storm. Might need a new one. Glad the music was nice and the evening was fun. You are rocking this indeed
Well Paula hope your sales go well. Getting rid of stuff is fun. We too have plastic tubs galore.
Liz you certainly are a skilled and gifted hostess!! You are lucky your DH likes to plan activities. Nice.
Not much else. Tesla and Poppy have the zoomies so I think Tesla is feeling better after the dental. She sure wants to eat!!

No, this trip is to Ohio. The Minnesota trip is the weekend of August 23-24. Hoping to meet up with you on the 24th.
Is this the trip that will bring you to Lake Elmo in August? I have the 23rd noted on my calendar. When it gets closer and you know what time works best for a meet up, let me know!
We have so many bins also from the former nesters. While I think my off spring would part with much of it, DH cannot. If we ever move, what a chore this will be!
