Greetings Peeps, Peps and Pups

Still more sun. The big storm may arrive tomorrow but for now I will take this. We are below average on rain so far and while I am fine without it, I know lack of rain leads to all sorts of other issues. But glad we are not like Washington state.

So Liz those people sound fun. Always good to make new friends at this time of life. Our Christmas group is down to 7 people though our host wants it small anyway. I have old pictures on my phone of past groups of people who are now deceased. So enjoy the new folks. GL on you Christmas travels. I bet DD is right that your DD may eventually be glad to do holidays in Florida.

Hmmm DD Duluth in December?? The events must be great ones. Kudos to you for braving the cold. Yep. in the winter be a cat and seek sun. And it is so sweet of you to make a quilted stocking for DS girlfriend. Expecting any Christmas announcements? Regarding Pop, I remember starting college in a small school that had students from all over the the nation and thinking it odd that people went to the "soda" machine.

Great looking tree Peps. Holidays seem to be synonymous with bad eating. Our friend brought over cranberry nut bread and I ate two slices in one day. Don't beat yourself up. This too shall pass.

Yesterday at the gallery was not too bad - had some visitors and sales. Turns out the boat Santa parade is tonight. Studio buddy is coming over today at 3 for football and bringing pizza. I told her that works but we can't go too late as we turn into pumpkins. So we shall see if she takes that hint and does not stay too late. She is fun to be around but kind of wears us out with loudness. We are sedate midwesterners.

DD Brazil in a month!! Can't wait to hear about your adventures. Hope you can stay connected here. I understand that What's App is the best email connection when one is in a foreign country.

Ohhhh CC, nothing like a good salon facial! Sounds like you had an extra special one. To DD try a basic salon facial at a good place that knows what they are doing. So relaxing and refreshing. You will love it. ds

203. - Boooo, but yesterday I was up to 202.8 and so I threw caution to the wind and ate like crap. My rebellious side took over. IF the scale is going up, I might as well eat like it should... type of thinking took over. I didn't eat a lot, but my choices were high sugar and I drank about 12 oz of water for the entire day. The rest was coffee... Not a good intake day for the scale, but I got some eating disorder behavior done and out of the way. At least, I'm aware...

Mostly grooming today. It is another gray day. Blech.... I'm sitting next to the tree, which is cheerful.

One month! Yay! It will come quickly.

So cold! -13 this morning and that's not the windchill. The temperature should be going up all day, and tomorrow should be in the 20s which is closer to average.

I'm getting ready to leave for an afternoon pops Christmas concert at the Minnesota Orchestra. When the concert is done, we will drive the 2 hours to Duluth to spend the night. Yes, we are going even further north in this bitter cold. It's actually not any colder up there than it is in the Twin Cities today. We tour a historic mansion tomorrow, and then make an attempt to go to a walk through light display on the harbor. I'm bringing warm clothes : )

The cookie factory is finally closed, and the kitchen returned to it's normal state. Next week I have 2 online doctor appointments, a visit to my parent's house, and lunch with my sister in law and DH. I started the Christmas Stocking for the lovely girlfriend. I think it will be pretty when I'm done quilting.

Vikings game at 6pm. I'm not sure we will be all the way to Duluth by then, so DH might miss a bit of the game. No doubt we will listen to pregame stuff on the way there.

One month from today, we will be in Brazil. I can hardly believe it is actually happening!
