A breeze makes all the difference doesn't it? We did try to go to the beach today (I wore sneakers until we sat, then had my feet on a towel). We lasted an hour but there was NO breeze and we both had sweat streaming down our faces. Back home and all the air conditioners (no central air here) are running. But now it is 5 and there is a nice breeze and shade on the deck so I am quite comfortable there for a bit.
Great idea to set a target for weekly decluttering. Every time I have moved I wondered why I didn't get rid of stuff over time...

Sort of a busy day... early up and out to visit Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. It was the summer palace for the Hapsburgs from the 1700s -1918. Quite the little summer home. LOL. After a later lunch, I napped. I mean really napped. Like two hours. WOW! Felt great. Not gonna lie.
We have one more day. We are cruising to Budapest. We will do a panoramic tour of Budapest and in the afternoon see the Hungarian Horsemen exposition. Then, we'll pack up and head to the airport the next morning. I will be happy to get home, but a bit sad to leave this life of luxury behind!
I have appreciated my higher level of fitness a lot during this trip. I have noticed how much more spry I am than the average fellow on this cruise - especially on the walking tours. Also, I have noticed how many people use their arms to help them get out of chairs. Grateful for all those squats I do! LOL!
I'll post a few pics on TT. Food was good today!
125 on the dot. Just over a 1 lb. increase. Not sure why. Perhaps I need some good bathroom activity!
Pool date was fun yesterday and didn?t feel too hot at all with the nice breeze we had. Food and conversation was good and we had fun playing games!
Today is still hot. I was going to take a DH walk but we slept in and it was already too hot to go. I did the treadmill instead and lifted weights. Not much else on the docket for today except to get rid of one bag ?of junk? in our downsizing efforts. We agreed to try and fill one bag each every week! I?m also checking out things to sell on Facebook market place.
Dinner will indeed be Jimmy John?s. DH suggested it for lunch and I said let?s get it for dinner!
Hope DH had fun golfing today Liz. That blister condition on your feet sounds awful! Hope they heal up fast for you!

DH has gone golfing (6:30 am tee time). No way I would play this early, but he is happy to get up for it. I hope he does okay as he is still suffering from sciatica though it has been improving.
Yesterday I didn't accomplish much other than planting the flowers I bought and starting my packing. I have a few bulky items so I hope they fit in the suitcase (current converter, steamer and at least one pair of wedge shoes, maybe 2). DSD who is arriving 2 days after us sent a picture of the clothes she laid out to pack. Much better at color coordinating everything than me.
I did pick a bunch of hydrangeas yesterday and have them in vases all over the place.
Not sure what we will do today other than continuing the pre-packing like getting medications counted out. Maybe a little beach time? That's a bit difficult for me right now as I have a skin condition which causes blisters on my feet and when it is active I have to work hard to make sure they don't get infected. Getting sand in them is not good. Wouldn't you know it would flare up right before I leave for Europe?
Time for a Justice walk soon! Have a monstrous Monday!

Nice to rediscover and enjoy music. It must make the time on the treadmill pass much more pleasantly.

Greetings all
It's another sunny mild day here. In the 60's outside. If anyone wants a summer trip without sticky heat or mosquitoes, come here. United Airlines has a flight direct from Denver to my back yard. Summer here is so fine.
So I did my walking and rediscovered old Laura Nyro music which was the sound track of my college years. After that I stopped at the hippie grocery and bought a quiche. No pot pies. Old people discount day. Skipped the studio as I will be there tomorrow.
Peps did you get to see the horses at the riding academy? Bet they are awesome. How interesting that Patton helped the school survive. Can you get over the counter codeine there? I would...
DD the sweet peas do not have blooms yet so no fragrance. I can't wait. The roses have a little. Hope your travels go well and aunt does ok.
Yep Liz take charge of deck arrangement. If you have the spacial ability go for it. My DH also has none so those of us that have it must take charge. And get more hydrangeas.
CC are you getting ready to travel?
Interesting about the trizepidide doses. Hope you all find sweet spot. Interesting how we expect a body reset when we weigh each morning yet somehow our bodies did not get the memo.
Yeah I would not plan on Egypt anytime soon. Med cruise? Maybe.

Sounds tasty!

I guess your heat is coming to Boston this afternoon. Luckily Cape Cod will be at least 10 degrees cooler.
You will look lovely in that Tommy Bahama dress and they are truly comfortable. I am bringing a Tommy Bahama white linen dress and jacket with me to Europe. Their linen is so soft and cool - I bought DH 2 linen shirts from them recently too which he is also bringing.

Good luck on your travels tomorrow. Those early mornings on flight days are a bear.
I would be hesitant to go to Egypt right now too. Even for the countries we are visiting (Spain, Poland, England) we have been warned to not wear anything that screams USA.
