510 kids! That is amazing. In our busiest years we never had that many!

I am going to discuss the exercise thing with the specialist on Friday. We do have a gym here at the clubhouse with weights but I really hate doing that stuff outside of a class so I am afraid I will let it lapse after a while.

I am looking at available health plans for 2026 (blech) and it asked me to put in my medications. I typed in Zepbound and in addition to the 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, and 15mg, it shows 20, 25, and 30mg. The trial they are doing for higher doses must be making progress!

In CA we simulated winter. All the same decorations and occasionally had to turn on the a/c to be able to wear a sweater!

121 on the dot again!

Made some yummy Shepherds Pie soup for dinner tonight along with Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits!

Got the Christmas decorations down from the attic today and then wrapped them up for transport to FL. I'll be interested to see how decorations are different in FL vs. WI. 10 more days in WI, the countdown in on!

Liz, you are the exercise Queen! I think a lot of the stuff you are doing can count as resistance training.

Greetings all:

Happy Day of the Dead - I think. It is calm but cloudy here. Yesterday was perfect Halloween. The sun came out and it was calm. The first kids came at 4;30 and the steady stream started a bit after 5. We had a total of 510 visitors. Sometimes it was a continuous line up and down the street though many were parents. The fire dept drove a truck up and down the street. There was a bounce house at the end of the block. Lots of people put a table and chairs in their driveways and just sat outside with candy. We had all manner of kids from tiny to very tall. One group came as a herd of cows - like 6 of them. Inflated costumes, lots of fairies, spiderman, star wars, princesses, witches and spooks, a minecraft character, Super Mario, unicorns, aliens and others. Quite a few boys in orange jump suits and middle school girls dressed as Dallas Cowgirl cheerleaders. Parents had costumes too. Overall the party seems successful. People talked and laughed a lot. I turn out the lights in the kitchen and then we can see all the kids come up the walk due to the amputation of the princess bush. We sit by candle light and drink wine and watch the show. Studio buddy was kind of annoying as she talks loud and talks over everyone. Oh well. It was a fun night but I was blasted by the end and needed advil. I asked the dessert queen to bring cookies and she brought four kinds. We still have a pile. I will take them to the studio as they are too sweet for me.

I will post a pic of the party guests but I decided not to take pictures of kids. Don't want to appear to be creepy. But it was a marvelous show.

Peps hope you got some kids. Need to get rid of candy,

Liz what does your doctor suggest for weight bearing exercise if walking is not enough? Sounds like time for a gym with weight equipment but not fun. Might have to swap water aerobics for other aerobics. But honestly you do a lot.

DD we are all thinking of you. Hoping that your mom accepts some help. You don't need us to tell you that you need to maintain some boundaries for your own sake. Self care.

Well football is on the agenda today. I may get to the gyn first as I have skipped this week. I did get weight bearing exercise standing at the door last night and running around. The dogs stayed locked up most of last night so they were the true nartyrs of the evening

Leftover cold cuts tonight

Diane S
