I kind of agree with DH, but at least it is an option. Lots of ways to store belongings these days.

I'm not opposed to renting at first at all. DH does not like the idea however because of more than one move!
117.6 - not bad considering some of the junky stuff I ate the last couple of days.
Diane S leaves on her trip today: Have a safe and enjoyable time!
Paula may be negotiating an offer in the house - fingers crossed that it is what you want!
And DD is leaving soon for Scotland! Such a beautiful, beautiful place!
We are enjoying just being back home for a few days. The next "outing" is a day trip next Wednesday, then a 4 day trip to Maine for DH's birthday beginning 9/6. Back to Florida on 9/13. Definitely a whirlwind summer which is what is making us think hard about where we want our base of operations to be going forward.
Yesterday it was a good choice to skip the races - it poured and would have been miserably wet and cold. DD did do some betting with an online app, winning $33, then losing it again on subsequent races. She is planning on going next year when hopefully the weather is better.
Speaking of weather, we are supposed to get high gusty winds today from the edge of Erin. No big deal. The rain has stopped so we should be able to get out for a good walk with Justice.
Have a throwback Thursday!

At the end of the day I think whatever happens will be what was meant to happen and it will all work out: closing when it works best for you and you will find the perfect Florida house. Or maybe you rent for a bit while looking for the house? We have met a lot of people who do it that way so they aren't rushed into a quick decision.

All exciting possibilities with a dollop of stress added. Hope the right doors will open to point you towards your new path.
Safe travels, and may you not cross the threshold of Universal Studios!
90% recycling. I guess we need that monetary motivator! I think recycling aluminum is so important. It's highly efficient to recycle and could lessen our need to import it. Good for the environment and good for the pocketbook of diet coke aficionados.
I think some hygienists are just more enthusiastic than others.
Have a phenomenal and safe trip!

121.5, back down! Go figure! It probably won?t be after today?s lunch. We ate Taco John?s in the car as we were driving around with the dogs during the house showing. My belly is still complaining that I put that crap in it!
House showing went well. We are expecting an offer, maybe yet tonight. Trying to figure out logistics of a possible closing date. We are thinking mid to late November to allow time for me to heal from surgery and give some wiggle room if there are any healing complications ( let?s pray there are none). We also had a few things planned here for November but I guess they could be cancelled if needed (ratio?s for both DH and myself were scheduled and DSD bought Packer?s tickets for November 10th as a bday gift for DH. The earliest we could even get down to FL to look at something would probably be the 3rd week in September. I?m thinking a FL house on the market right now might not accept a late November closing. But like Liz said, it appears to be a bit of a buyers market now (actually more of a correction from elevated prices during Covid). We will see!
Safe travels Diane! Can't believe you didn't beat the shark with that banger of a word!
