I was in a woman's club once and they actually wrote fancy reports to describe each volunteer project so they could compete against other clubs. Foolish waste of time IMHO, so I quit that.

A 2 week project? Hard to get your heart and soul into that! Hopefully the weather forecast will change for Tuesday.

Yikes CC this is scary. Trip to doctor warrented? Sounds like you did the right thing to consult Dr. Youtube. Rest up. What in the heck does this? DS

123.8 on Mom?s scale. Horrible night of trying to sleep on her couch. She talked all night long in her sleep and I kept thinking she needed something! I?ll be going back on Monday for her surgery on Tuesday. I?ll then stay for a few days but may try and sleep at my brother?s if she is doing somewhat okay. Another option is to bring her back to my home to recover. I?ll have to play it by ear.

DS3 is still visiting but spends most of the time in his room. DSD and SIL were also here Friday into today but left after lunch. DC1 is hanging out. Leftovers for dinner. I had a slice of sausage and mushroom pizza and some watermelon. We went to the Mexican joint down the street for lunch. Had my normal 1 shredded chicken taco and some refried beans!

Church tomorrow and then hang out with the fam for 1 day before making the trek back to Moms. I really should try to clean the house too! Yuck!

Wish I was in Aruba with Liz or at Claddagh coffee with DD and her DH or at a dog show with Peps! Heck, I would prefer walking on treadmill next to Diane before doing housework any day! Sorry CC, I would rather clean my house than have vertigo symptoms with you! Hope you are feeling better! My DH gets vertigo and Meclazine (over the counter) is his go to!

Boo hiss! I woke up at 4 thinking I was having a stroke or something as the room and my eyes were spinning wildly (nystagmus). Nope, good old fashioned vertigo. I threw up, walked into walls and cried like a baby. I had it once before in 2017 and found a video on YouTube by a doctor who treats vertigo and has an exercise to move your head into certain positions to relocate the crystals in your middle ear to a place where they don't make you think you're moving (That was when I threw up). I am feeling better and my eyes aren't dancing anymore, but today I've just felt really off and yucky.

Waiting on the rain tomorrow. If Phoenix gets rain it'll be the first time on June first since they started keeping records.

Otherwise, I am doing nothing today but staying inside in the a/c.

Yay for Peps!! Take care all...

Greetings all

Another sunny one. I am still dawdling about. Peps and DD soon you will be too. Nice Peps that you skipped school on the last day. Bravo.

DD found your post and put it up. Crap that you got assigned the next year issues. Oh well, kick the can down the road. You and Peps need to guard your time. When people figure out you have some they will be all over you with projects. In my case it was garden club. I finally quit. Too many compulsory tea parties and fighting about insurance for the garden tours. People always thinking up projects for someone else to actually do. No thanks.

So I will do my walking today. Liz I find it so much easier on the treadmill than on the street. No climate issues plus I can hold on to the rails and not worry about falling which I worry about on the sidewalk. I should work on balance a bit since there are many wonderful walkable beaches here. It is the season of minus tides which means tidepool creatures are visible.

Again safe travels Liz. Seems like we are always wishing you that as you guys are jet setters. Aruba is a worthy destination (never been there). Have a great time.

Well I am going to have to leave the house sooner than expected. DH is watching some truly hideous tv series about witches doing gross and creepy things. Escape required.

CC glad you were able to ditch jury duty. Amazing what people think will work as an excuse. But it really is a burden for some people. I should do it and probably could manage it these days but here it is almost always criminal stuff and gross. At least you got paid travel. Around here the reimbursement is tiny and they pressure you to waive it.

Win big Peps. Have a great day all. Quiche tonight. Time to wash hair and escape the house.

Diane S
