Yep...that's me... I had surgery On Oct. 15. I am about 6 weeks out. Things are going pretty good. I go on the NUT on the 8th of Dec. to get on my "lifetime diet." .which will finally be some carbs, fruits, and veggies.  On Thanksgiving  I did have some potatoes, and a few cubes of stuffing to go along with that turkey.  Last but not least a little ...blop of cranberry sauce..sugar didn't seem to bother me..I'm not sure if thats good or bad. Back to work this Mon....and I got a wee bit of x-mas shopping done. ttyl....

Well....I can even begin to tell you all of the feelings I have running through my head right now... I almost backed out, I called the insurance co. and asked about a lap band, I called my doctor, been on this site for like 3 days straight,  basically I'm freak'n out a bit. I know things will be fine....I just have a big journey ahead of me...afraid of commitment might be another reason for the cold feet.  I know the lack of commitment is why I am here today. Lack of commitment and will power. This sight has really helped me with that and I just need the tool to get my headed in the right direction. Oh...yeah this liquid diet stinks.

Well two weeks away from my surgery date. Many feelings going through my head right now. I am happy to be on my way to a heathier weight.

Well....I finally have a date with the surgeon on 7/28...Seems like forever... Things are so backed up with appts. I'm probally not looking to have surgery untill the end of Sept. I guess that means really good doctors with lots of clients. I'm gonna go with the motto "good things come to those who wait".

Hello, My name is Alison my good friends call me Allie. I have a husband Christian of 10 years, and 3 wonderful children...all girls of course, and last but not least my pupper buddy Deuce a 1 1/2 year old black lab.  I've been going to pre-bariatric surgery classes since October of 2008. I'm hoping to get an appointment with a surgeon this wed. when I go back to the doctor. It's been a long haul and I can't wait to get a surgery date.
