Hi everyone it's been 8 months since my surgery  and 102 lbs lost I'm so excited and I'm still dropping inches and pounds and i can't believe the response i am having from my husband my co-workers it's just over whelming but i like it i tell you what  that i would recommend this surgery to anyone i am so so happy talk to you soon

Hi everyone just wanted to update i haven't been here in a long time because i wasn't getting anywhere with priority health but now i have blue cross blue shield and i have a surgery date and it 's for June 16 2009 can't wait I'm so excited and scared all at the same time i will keep you up to date later i have to get peeped for the big step

Hi everyone just wanted to update some. well I'm giving up on priority health, in November my employer is offering  the opportunity for  me to change health insurance so i decided to do that so i think i will switch to blue cross blue shield does anyone think that would be a good idea or should i stick with priority health please if someone could give me some feed back i would greatly appreciate it

hi everyone i sent in my paperwork to priority and they finally sent a grievance package to me after two weeks waiting now they want me to come in front of them and tell them why i should have the surgery and why they should overturn their decision does anyone have any suggestions of what i should do or what to say

well here it goes this is my life ever since i can remember i have been fat  my whole life everyday at school it wouldn't go one day i wasn't picked on if  you never had that problem you would never know what i was talking about but it has been a struggle when i was 10 years old is when i started to put on the weight then it just kept going then when i was 18 i met a man and got married and had two wonderful children and gained more weight then we got divorced and that made me gain more then finally i met my new husband he is great couldn't ask for anyone better but now that my life is coming back together i just can't seem to take the weight off i tried weight watchers i tried atkins diet south beach i can't named them all but i tried them all now i belong to the topps group it seems to work a little but i will loose then gain it's so frustating so i have been searching for a salution so i have been researching about weight lost surgery for a long time and i think no i mean i know i am ready for the gastric bypass surgery so here i go down this long and hard journey i know i have a long ways to go from everybody that i talk to so i will keep everyone posted

I guess i have bad sleep apnea i have to wear a mask now when i sleep i don't know how that is going to go but i have to get set up now for the sleep mask so i hope that when i go to appeal priority health to get approve for the surgery  i hope it goes ok  because if it don't i will be so devastated and then i don't know what to do next anyone please help

I just had a sleep apnea test done and i have it but not sure if i have it enough for my insurance company to aprove me for the surgery can anyone tell me on how to go about  how to appeal your insurance company after they have denied you for the surgery

I just want everyone to know never i mean never ever have priority health as your health provider because they suck  and i hate them i'm more depressed now then i ever was they denied me for the surgery because i have no major health problems my pcp has referred me for the surgery and his self say's i should have the surgery because my mother and family members have every imaginable health problems all i do now is cry i'm so scared of getting my mother's health problems is there anyone out there that can helpppppp 
me or tell me any  tricks that would help me change priorty health's mind please i'm desperate need of help
