Hi Rosalinda: In checking the surgery dates, I looked for people whose date is the same as mine, August 6, 2003, and read your journey. I wish you all the best and will be thinking of everyone out there who is having surgery on our date also. I pray for all of us - take care and happy thoughts to you.

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!

Maria, I just spent the last few minutes reading all about your journey. I am so glad that the insurance thing go straightened out. I too am having surgery on August 6th. I live in Ohio, I am 50 years old with 4 adult kids and 4 grandkids. I am 5'3" and Have a BMI about 50. I am also having Distal RNY. If you don't mind having a long distance losing buddy, I would love to have someone to call my Loser Friend! LOL Good luck to us both. God Bless and keep you safe. Suzza

Rosalinda, It's hard to hear hang in there, I know. But what is one to do? I just wanted to drop in and say best wishes to you on getting through the approval process AGAIN. Rosalinda, I live close to San Antonio and I had my surgery with Dr Schwesinger at the University. His Nurse is Rollette 567-2164. I don't know if they accept your insurance but it is worth a try. I know I still have an appt with Dr Pilcher set for Jan 2005 I need to cancel which orig was for Oct 2005. I laughed at his receptionist. My husband has a consult set with Dr S in April also, he is great. Best of Luck, Tamara
