July 2007:
I am now taking a spinning class several nights a week and trying Weight Watchers Core plan. The weight seems to be coming off again. Yay! I know I can get back down to my original goal weight.
Let's see... I'm 4 years out now as of April 21, 2007. I haven't been doing too great with my weight so I'm probably not in the best frame of mind to update my profile.
I initially lost 126 lbs and got down to around a size 8/10. I am now back up close to 50 lbs, only having successfully kept around 75 off. I'm in a size 16. I can still wear misses but I worry about the future at this point - you know? Here goes the low self-esteem and battles with weight all over again.
Do I regret the surgery? Mmm, probably not, though right now I'm not thrilled with it, either. I feel like I still barely eat anything (half a sandwich at a meal, one piece of pizza, a cup of soup - that sort of thing) but apparently I'm grazing too much/the wrong things. And the cravings are bigger than EVER. That's the hardest and most frustrating part.
So, that's my big update. Hopefully I can join Weight Watchers soon and get back down. I'm taking a 7-day Mexican Riviera Disney Cruise next summer ('08) with my family and would LOVE to be down to even a 12 by then. We shall see!
