"I am postop LBL. I could not be happier having used Dr Capella, and recommend him highly. I had previously consulted 4 other well known PS, but left each visit doubtful if each was the surgeon for me. However, I just knew immediately after consulting Dr. Capella that he was the perfect surgeon for me, and I could not have been more comfortable with my choice. He is well trained, and extremely well experienced having performed approx 300 LBLs to date. He does all cosmetic and reconstructive work, but also has a national reputation for specializing in plastic surgery for WLS patients. His attitude regarding obesity and WLS surgery is excellent as his father is a bariatric surgeon. I also plan to continue to use Dr Capella in the future for some upper body work.

"PRE-OP: I am very impressed with Dr. Roslin. He was very relaxed and funny when I met with him. He is very honest and straight forward about all the different procedures, risks, and restrictions post op. He doesn't do it to scare but to make sure you are making an informed decision.
POST-OP: I remain very impressed with Dr. Roslin. His years of experience and surgical skills make him one of the top bariatric surgeons in the country. Although he was often rushed in both the hospital and office settings, he remained friendly and willing to spend extra time, if needed, to address clinical issues. He has a good bedside manner when with you although visits are brief. However, he replys promptly to all email and runs outstanding monthly support groups.

"In addition to being an excellant physician, Dr. McHeffey has a few patients who have had successful WLS and clearly sees the benefits. Her office nurse has family members who have had successful WLS as well. "
"Staff is very busy. While they are very competent and nice, they don't spend extra time at your bedside. Do not hesitate to ask for anything you want/need. If you want to see a RN then ring for one, as they come to your room only when you have scheduled medications or procedures."
