Nov 2008 - ate everything that I could to try to get my weight from 298lbs to over 300lbs so that my BMI would be high enough to qualify for the surgery. No such luck. I was denied.
Nov 2009 - wasn't trying but was not doing anything to stop weight gain. Weighed in at 314lbs and requested surgery. Original request was denied and had to file an appeal thru the health plan.
Dec 2009 - won my appeal !!!! Yeah! Now I have to lose 10-15% of my body weight before we can set a surgery date. I think this is going to be harder than putting it on was.
