I Said a Prayer For You Today! I said a prayer for you today, and know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word, I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures of, a more loving lasting kind, I asked Him to send you blessings at the start of your new day, To grant you love and health, and to guide the surgeon's way, I asked for you to recover fast, and to become thin and small, But it was for His loving care, I prayed for most of all!

Erin, welcome! I know that this whole surgery thing can be overwhelming. I have a word for you that might help. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 This scripture has meant a lot to me and others that are traveling along on their WLS journey, I pray that it will be a comfort to you as well. God Bless You!

Hi Erin! Welcome to the AMOS site! I'm so glad you found us and I hope you are learning a lot about the different surgeries. We are like a family here. We're here to support each other, lend an ear and not judge. Many people are here to help you along the way. Don't be afraid to ask questions! We are all in different phases of our weight loss and can offer you many different opinions. Check out the site as it has so much information. You've made a wise choice joining AMOS and wanting to have WLS. You deserve to have a better quality of life. So, be diligent, do your research and decide what's right for you.
