6-17-04 9:30PM I just got off the phone with Kelly. She says she is doing really great. Infact after she hangs up with me she's doing another walk. I reminded her to sip & walk, sip & walk, sip & walk. LOL! She's such a trooper (sp.?)! Still refusing pain pills. She says she's not in pain. She said she has a mild headache. I said I think I would have a major one if I couldn't have anything for 24 hours. Now she's up to 4 oz. of ice chips an hour. WOOOOO HOOOOO! She's well on her way to a "new" Kelly. Leave notes and I will fax them to her tomorrow morning! Next update on Friday. Leonard

6-17-04 5:30PM Hi all! I just got off the phone with Kelly. She went in to surgery at about 2:30PM. She said that everything went without a hitch. She has refused all pain medications and says that she has no pain. She said that she is feeling absolutely great! We joked on the phone, so she hasn't lost that, thank goodness! The nurse had just come in and gave her first mouth wash. I'm sure that was much appreciated! She's in terrific spirits! Please keep praying for her speedy recovery. Well, that's it for now. I'll post more updates later. Leonard
