Long time since added to this
Aug 13, 2007
It has been a long time since i have been at obesity help. I put a few pounds (35) back on and so am planning on revamping my exercise routine. That is the only think I can think of. I have had some pretty busy months. Got in a car accident in April on my way to see the counselor....and when i started talking about things I put weight on...stress makes me want to eat..so am not sure how I can get the counseling and yet keep down the weight. Oh well...anyway my car engine gave out. So that is an added expense and I haven't been able to visit my surgeon in ages....how do I change my email addy?????
Got to find out.

Dr Appt One year out!!!
Oct 18, 2006
Well, I had my appt with Diane yesterday..she is the PA at Dr. Coirin's office. I seen the doctor in the hallway as he was heading to talk to another patient. I don't return to the doctor's office till April but she did order lab work...and so we shall see. I am happy that things are going much better than before. I have been losing again...was beginning to think i was a total failure there too! I am really tired tonight...but Ross is on so I may go chat with him. He lives in Tx and is the same age as me..just a couple months younger and is my aunt's son.
Laura is in Mill Valley and she has two boys now. She kept the family name and her oldest son is the forth Willard Berry!
Well, it is all a good day and am going to George's for dinner tomorrow night..will take some green beans also..and lots of chicken to barbecue..will bring a couple pieces home.
Got all the pictures developed and one roll of film didn't take from the other day..so that is upsetting..but at least Robert took pictures also!!! So the family shots we all have!
Total Update
Oct 14, 2006
I am a year out now. I have lost 108 pounds since surgery. I have lost a total of 261 pounds from my highest recorded weight. My family has been under a lot of stress this year and my 20 year old nephew recently passed away from a long battle with cancer on Sept 30, 2006. It is still really hard to believe he is gone. We expected his death a lot sooner and are fortunate to have had him on this earth so very long. In May of 2005, they said 3-6 months maximun life span from the type of cancer he had and the fact it had already spread beyond hope. With everyone's prayers he lived 18 months longer than they said he would. God gave us the extra time to deal with this..thank goodness because we had recently lost my Mom and we were still grieving for her. My brother asked me how he was supposed to handle losing his oldest son and I couldn't answer him. What was I really supposed to say??? Harley's response to his impending death was "It happens!" and make the best of the time we have left. Not easy sometimes. Well, enough for now.
