Just spoke to Wendy B this morning. She sounded great and was certainly in good spirits despite being sore ... She'll be discharged this Fri and is very happy to have Mandy and Maureen from Michigan looking in on her. cheers Barbara in mid-northern Ontario Canada.

I called Crittenton Hospital but because my call came through just after 10 pm, they couldn't put me through this evening so I didn't get a chance to speak to Wendym (will call her tomorrow). However, I did speak to her nurse who said Wendy was doing well and that all went well with the surgery. The nurse was just returning from Wendy's room just now ... trying to get her up and walking a bit.

<b>Congratulations on taking this huge step in your journey and becoming an official member of the "fellowship of the switch."</b> We hope that your surgery and recovery are swift, smooth, and uneventful. It is an interesting experience and certainly not "the easy way out" of being unhealthy and obese but each day will get a little better and be further proof that you dared to dream and had the courage to act.
