Well I gained a couple of pounds over Christmas ... as opposed to the usual 5 to 10 that I used to gain pre-surgery! For the first time since surgery (18 months) I have gained weight ... a wake-up call for me for certain! I am now at 155, still below my goal. But I will begin the exercising in earnest, especially once the snow flies and I can start skiing. I would like to get down to 150 by the time I go see Dr. L again in June. I don't *have* to do this, but it is something I'd like to aim for. 

Life is good ... I'm busier than ever, thanks to my increased energy and endurance post-op.

I rarely come to OH anymore as I get all the support and info I need at the duodenalswitch.com forum. If anyone would like to contact me, please do ... especially those from Ontario who are attempting to navigate those choppy waters of OHIP!

This new profile stuff is trippy. I just don't have the time to figure it all out at the moment. So right now it looks like I don't have any friends or photos! lol Hopefully you can still read my story below.
I post and read mostly on the duodenalswitch.com bulletin board site. I find it very useful and especially like the search function there.
