Hi everyone! :) I was just reading through all the wonderful well wishes and noticed that many of you wished me well three times-- one before each surgery date! LOL. Thank you! I truly appreciate it! You are all wonderful. For anyone that doesn't know-- I was scheduled for Lapbanding System of Gastric Bypass on October 25, 2004 and was denied at the last minute by my insurance. I later rescheduled for December 29, 2004 for Lap RNY- Proximal, was approved by insurance, got to the surgery table, was sedated and then had the weirdest set of circumstances kabosh the whole surgery. (Human error in the surgery room sent me to Abbott Northwestern for a week.) Because of this, my cardiologist required a three month wait before attempting surgery again. Well, the wait it almost over and here I go again, April 4, 2005. Again, I thank everyone for their wonderful support. I appreciate it!

Lilacs, Congratulations on your up coming surgery. Wanted you to know that I was thinking about you our prayers are with you. I know this will make a positive change in your life. Before you know it, you will be up and around enjoying your new life. I am thrilled with my results check out my profile for all the weight and inches I have lost in the past 9 months its been wonderful. I am so thankful God has been with me on this journey and I have not had any problems and am thankful for all the support from this site. Surgery Date 5/24/04 Weight 243/158/-85/not at goal 147 but VERY HAPPY!

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . May God Bless and Keep you and here's hoping that this is just a small stumbling block in your recovery. My blood pressure went out of control and shortly after the surgery, I was sent to ICU. I had to have IV drugs for this and was in ICU for about 4 days. It was rather scary to have problems such as these. I have done fairly well since my surgery on Nov. 9th. I will remember you in my prayers. Hang in there.
