"Officially met Dr Coates on the day of surgery. I like him personally and appreciate that the volume of surgeries he performs gives him great skill. I had no complications and felt great upon waking up in the recovery room.
His office staff, however, is another story. Because he is so busy, the staff cannot keep up with the paperwork and essential communication is either flawed or absent. I guess it all comes down to what is important to you. For me the surgeon's skill was the main thing. If you can deal with the frequent aggravation from his staff and be prepared to spend considerable time finding the hole that information fell through, he's your man.
