"First impression was compassion. He was warm and caring and said to me "I am listening" then gave me the floor. He was knowledgible and confident, never arrogant or curt. He shared information with me and acknowledged my work and research into this surgery. I absolutely felt like this was the surgeon I had been searching for.
His Assistant Allison - One word. Amazing. She is unbelievably helpful and WILLING to answer phone calls and deal with my questions and concerns. She's just the best. Pre-op and post-op.
The surgery went perfectly. Dr. G was excellent through out and every time I've seen him since. His communication with my family post-surgery was a little lacking but I've discovered that he just has his own 'style' of talking to you. Quiet and very low key with almost no emotional tones, which can be confusing until you get to know him a bit more.
I'm having issues with his front office staff since the surgery. There is a lot of mis-communication or no communication at all between them. It's very frustrating and I would be prepared for it if you are considering using this surgeon.
