I celebrated one year with a speaking part at Geisinger's annual alumni's picnic - and I think I wowed hem!
I am so grateful and proud of my team, who absolutely saved my life!

Sorry I've been absent so much - summer has been real busy, finally took a few days off and went to Gettysburg Bike Week!
If I wasn't riding, I was in the pool, haven't done that for 25 years!

Anyone notice holidays are different now? It used to be big about the food and treats!
Went out riding the Roadking today for a couple hours - temp is 27 degree's. What a perfect day for a ride. Only, I notice big time that I don't have the insulation I used to!!!!

Had the Roadking out yesterday - seems like it got a lot more power in the last 6 month's!
Routine Followup

Had my 2nd routine follow-up yesterday. don't know why these make me so nervous, but I got an atta-boy from Dr. Chris Still - who has been amazing with me, he makes me feel like I am his only patient, and a compliment from him is what I work for.
He said "125 lbs since the start"!
Another 'wow' moment. I stayed for the group support meeting, and handed out cars for this site to some of the future candidates, what a lift they gave me, made me realize just how far I've come!

Went to a convention last weekend - stayed on the 10th floor, and used the stairs, both ways!
Then I got to buy some clothes, now remember last year this time I was a 4x, but this weekend I got a shirt and a jacket, XL, and they fit great.
I'm likin' this! Still stalled on the scale, but losing inches.

Well, in the last week I've made 6 new friends, you all are so nice, I'm happy to be here.
It snowed, and then ice again, but I shoveled the entire driveway (100 feet) with nary a sweat drip!
Every day is better, and they ain't so bad to begin with.
Just wish I could take the edge off the irritability, though. And I'm getting real tired of people asking how I feel, it's been 5 month's, I've lost 114 pounds, how do you think I feel.
I've taken to answering with "Fine, how do you feel?", and my favorite (for the ladies) I feel great, but don't take my word for it, feel for yourself!"
