I'm approved and I have a date!

I am approved and I have a date. October 22nd. I got on the scale and I was back up to 279. I was 269 when I went in for my consult appointment (3 weeks into WW). He told me that I didn't need to lose any weight but that I couldn't gain any or else he would cancel my surgery. I have been busting my butt getting this weight off and I feel sure that I will be well under 269 by the time I go in for my pre op appt. It's scheduled for the 16th. I weighed 271 this morning and I start my liver shrinking diet on Oct 8th. I am hoping to be in the 250's when I have surgery. We'll see. I am so excited! My husband is scared but happy if it's what I want. You all have been so encouraging and I am so grateful to have the support!!! Thanks and I'll be joining you guys on the loser's bench soon.
Waiting for approval

Well, I have met with my surgeon, had my psychological eval, nut eval, EKG, blood work and now I'm just waiting for insurance to approve me. My mother is coming for a visit the first week in October so I am hoping that I will get approval and possibly have surgery before or while she is here. I am ready to do this. The one thing that worries me is my diet coke addiction but I am ready to give that up as soon as I need to. I am ready to take control of my life with the help of my band. I am calling the insurance company back on wednesday to see if surgery has been approved.
